Excited about Revenge

Happy November! What is sad is that this time last year I had almost all Christmas shopping done and as of right now I have none. Ok I have actually ordered one or two items and have pin pointed an item or two but no movement like I did last year. I know I need to change that.

In weather news the morning has been awesome! I love leaving in the wee hours of the morning to work and opening the door and instead of the usual humidity I get a scent of coolness - I only wish it would stay longer.

In TV news well DWTS is eh borning to say the least. A couple of weeks ago Max told off one of the judges and I am on Team Max he was right and Chaz Bono even mouthed off a few things. They seem to feel the judges have their golden child and are harsh and not sensitive to the others and say very cruel remarks...hum...why does that sound familiar?? OH yes because that is what I said way back when the season started, now I am glad I am not the only one who has noticed! So at this point I really do not care who stays or goes. Max and Hope are still in the competition but I have noticed that Len Goodman (the judge Max had the war of words with) has been scoring them rather low in comparision and not deserved - so gee so much for being a professional huh Len? Yeah Len spews he has over 50 years experience in the field - yet acting like a spoiled brat and striking back I am sure did not require much training. Ok on to better shows.,..

Revenge - OMG I am so loving this show! The show ends and I find myself panting for next week to see what happens. Unfortunately I will have to wait 2 weeks because next week the CMA's will be on. I know I know it has to be done. It is just nice to be excited about a show again. Do not get me wrong I love my mystery and mayhem shows like NCIS and CSI's but oh Revenge just stirs up a whole new sense of excitement.

In the meantime everything else is moving along smoothly. Daddy Dearest will be spending Thanksgiving with us and we shall once again do the hosting for the main event. It's always a nice relaxing time and I am actually looking forward to it.

The weekend is here! So what will happen this weekend?

The week is over!

So here we are at the end of another week and things are looking up. As we speak my sister in law is driving to the hospital to bring in another addition to the Bellver clan. Oh yes little Danny boy is scheduled to arrive today. I suppose this means I need to play 21 ooh lucky 21 Black Jack. Sounds good to me. He originally was to be brought in yesterday but the hospital called her and told they had no room in the inn yes that is right no beds. Ok how come that sounds like so wrong? You tell me if she went into labor they would be like hey can you hold that until tomorrow? But all is good with the world and Danny Jesus will be approaching some time today!

Quick round up on some shows:

DWTS - Carson is gone. While he may not had been the best I did not think he should leave. Nancy Grace now that one needs to leave. While I totally support Chaz's lifestyle and like him the guy cannot dance. But he did say hey if you keep me around I will make sure my mom comes to visit and well she did come to visit.

Revenge - God this show rocks! When last we left off Lydia was murdered by that dasterly guy the Graysons have working for them and what is even worse is that the murder was captured on tape! Meanwhile Emily/Amanda is now officially sleeping with Daniel who was caught off the 100 million dollar trust fund. What to do when your 100 million dollar fund is no longer available? Why get a job as a bartender at the local bar and grill of course.

Body of Proof - Not too shabby. Dead bodies, autopsy, murder, mayhem.

Desperate Housewives - once upon a time this show was one of my faves. Now its just stupid and ridiculous. I seriously do not understand the direction they have put some of these characters. I understand that this is the last year for the show and maybe the writers just do not care. Ok Gabby's rapist pedifile step father came after her he was about to rape her and Carlos hit him and he dropped dead. Ok one would say hey this is great you saved her but no the women walk in and see the dead body and of course what does one do? Why they hide the body until their house party is over and then put him in the trunk of the car and bury his body in the forest. So then why is Susan feeling so guilty?? She had nothing to do with the killing yeah she helped bury the body but come on she is like freaking out by hitting policemen on purpose so they can arrest her? It's like she wants to be punished. So either way this show is going to end this year and as of right now I am not going to miss it anymore.

The NCIS's and CSI's are going good that does not seem to change.

Ok lets make it a good day and let play 21 for Danny!

DWTS and other shows

Another star bites the dust on DWTS. This time around it was Chynna Phillips. I am not so sure that she deserved to leave although I understand it because her performance was hurtful. She had forgotten the steps and it was clearly obvious that she was totally lost. I still feel bad I think dispite that set back she was pretty darn good. But alas they say it is all in the votes, at least that is what ABC tells us and we all know how truthful ABC is.

So I have watchd a few new shows and I thought ok let me give you a run down on if I like them or not and yes I will keep it short - sort of.

Pan Am - eh it's "ok" if it flew off into the sunset I will not miss it but I will still watch it while it is on.
Charlie's Angels - Typical no different then the original version with the exception that the Angels are a little more Kick A**.
Body of Proof - Really good, love it!
Revenge - Awesome!

Then of course there are the return favorites such as NCIS (both of them) and the CSI's which are a staple on the DVR.

Here is some happy sounding news regarding daytime soaps more specific towards my two babies who have been eliminated by murderer Brian Frons. We know that Prospect Park came in and saved the day by purchasing the licensing for the two shows All My Children and One Life to Live. They stated that it would be most likely internet based and at the time there was not an official home. Well according to press releases a new internet company has been formed titled ...wait for it... The Online Network. It is being put together and they have agreed to host the two shows. What is even better to hear is that they are trying methods that have proven successful on Prime Time and that is by having music and advertising on the show. The Online Network (TOLN) has partnered with Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's leading music company, to license music exclusively from UMG's record and publishing companies to new episodes of ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE, when both series launch online after their run on ABC ends. The licensing deal with UMG allows TOLN to provide compelling recorded music and songs, and artist cross-promotion and integration, to a powerful new audience. How brilliant bring in advertisers and let that pay for the show. Imagine the possibility! I am looking forward to it.

In other news I am going to give DWTS one more try since Cher is going to be sitting in the audience. Ok Chaz is not the greatest dancer, ok he kind of really sucks but for me its more about the judges being fair and providing constructive critism to all the dancers and not just the ones they liked. I believe Julienne Hough will also be performing tomorrow in a FootLoose dance routine. So that will be nice to see.

Another week no All My Children yes C/S

Well here we are another week of no All My Children and yes I guess I can cope without my soap and all I have to say is Brain Frons I hope you have nightmares and the runs for the next 41 years. Hey look I am into the spiritual awareness and not wishing harm and I do not wish him harm I just want him to have a 41 year run just like All My Children did is that really such a bad thing to wish for?

This week is the start of mayhem at work because it is Customer Service week. Now we have local co-workers who are just way too creative for their jobs and really get excited about creating stuff. This year the theme we were given is carnical/circus and well lets just say the department got turned into a huge Big Top with games, "rides", and shows. Its actually pretty fun to watch and do. However, each year I think about this and tell me if this makes sense. C/S week is suppose to be the bosses saying to us hey thanks for doing a great job in servicing our customers. But what happens is big boss gives the theme and worker bees go full steam ahead getting games and stuff etc...The worker bees put up the stuff the worker bees will bring it down. Meanwhile the bosses walk around smiling and saying oh how nice and oh yes they arrange for snacks to be brought up (yum chocolate) and one day during the week lunch in the cafeteria - Can it get any more exciting? Then once this whole thing is over a few short days later (Oct 17) is Boss's Day and here are the silly work bees going around decorating and collecting money for an expensive gift that chances are she will not like but appreciate. I know I sound like Negative Nancy and I will have to work that out. I think its because we were divided into "Teams" for the games and there is a certain person in my team I really wish she would not be there but she always is in it every year. I think I will take that opportunity to make her life miserable by being happy happy joy joy...Yeah that's the ticket...oh ticket..,prize.

DWTS and missing All My Children

The first week of a none All My Children week and yeah I am so missing it. I miss seeing Erica Kane twirl her head and watch Ryan get mad at David Hayward for playing God and not revealing that he kept someone alive when everyone thought they were dead. Really Ryan can you just go get a life? And how can I forget Jesse shouting ANGELA!!! Oh yes those were the days. Hopefully Prospect Park will make it happen. I have heard news that the cable channel has been narrowed down and that things are looking good so that gives me hope. I just hope that the stories continue to be good. Well All My Children needed to "up" their stories but recently I heard someone in a podcast saying how perhaps they should look at what made the show a success and mirror that idea. Meaning, that back then what was happening was brought into the mix for example we had Kitty fighting against the war and other rallying for abortion rights, perhaps they should look at the headlines and copy something like that? For example how about Bianca fighting for gay marriages in all States and bringing that up to the light. How about a main core character having a Muslim as a friend and we may not know all about this person but let the others characters come up with their own conclusion. I don't know I am just spitting stuff out. I miss the show.

One show I find not watching as much is DWTS and its mainly because I am being disgusted by the judges. I believe that judges should advice and provide constructive crtiques not ridicule and embarress and be just plain nasty. I find that its becoming a show of oh which judge will insult the most and I am sorry it makes me not want to watch the dancers. So I just read the highlights and move on from there. I no longer feel the need to catch it. Sorry Chaz and JR I really wanted to watch you but when they get judges who will provide good feedback that will help the performance that is when I will watch again. Until then I hope you all do well and keep it going!

All My Children

Well yesterdays show was for sure about the Chandlers and it was the writers making what was wrong a right. Stuart is back. To see David Canary playing both parts was brilliant. He is one of the greatest actors and nothing is more exciting to watch him playing both parts. It brought tears to my eyes it was great and to think I will not see that again. Totally cool and sad. So today is the last show and I will be sad and eventually something else will come and take my attention but until then All My Children - cheers I will forever miss you and thank you for being a huge part of my life!

All My Children I am missing you already

I know AMC has not ended yet but I feel like I am missing it already. Yesterday's tribute was to another core family (The Martins), they showed the whole gang all together and there was even memories done to some of the older vets that have passed on. It was truly sweet and there was an appearance by Sarah Michelle Gellar! Oh wow it was great! She was a patient who thought she was the daughter of Erica Kane...ha ha ha ha!! Total riot. If you do not get it read my last post. Total cute.

I suspect todays show will feature the Chandelors and JR's destruction. I heard they were going to leave something as a clif hanger and the way the show has been going JR is going nuts and yesterday we saw him putting bullets into a gun. So chances are today and or tomorrow that will be left hanging with some gun going off...But I am also certain about Chandlor day today because a wrong was made right yesterday! Stuart is alive!

Ok here is the scoop about 2-3 years ago this somewhat terrible head writer named Chuck Pratt was hired. Head writers dictate storylines and here is this schmuch who comes in and I guess he decided oh boy he is going to shake things up by killing Stuart Chandlor? Really dude? This is a beloved character and you killed him? Why because you wanted to show you have power and can do it? That almost seemed to be the start of what is the end because of course schmucko Frons refused to replace him even after fans objected. Heck actors were confused. Ok now let me explain about Stuart he has a twin brother named Adam and well Adam is bad twin and Stuart is good twin played by the same actor. The guy is brilliant really to see this guy play both was amazing. It was more amazing to watch Adam pretending to be Stuart I mean you looked at it and went oh man thats Adam and it was! So when they killed Stuart I was heart broken and even the actor did not like it. So much so that I suspect the reason he did not renew his contract was because of the whole killing and disaster. So now they finally made a smart decision silly people Stuart was never murdered Dr. David saved his life and has been having him on life support this whole time! Won't Adam be happy to finally learned that he did not accidently murder Stuart. Really it will be fantastic. I just hope JR doesn't mess that up.

If I sound a little insane thats ok can you imagine how crazy I will sound when soap number two (One Life To Live) comes to an end?

A week of reflecting

Well yesterday I mentioned how it was a bitter sweet week since AMC was going bye bye as of Friday and I mentioned stuff about Erica Kane and a Pine Valley with no Erica Kane. I guess it was meant to be because yesterday's show was a reflection on Erica Kane and her Kane girls. Yeah they also showed some of the Lavery's and Slaters (well DUH related to Kane women) but it was a flash back of sorts. What was cute is how they made a cute line to Sarah Michelle Gellar. History SMG use to play Kendall - daughter of Erica Kane well SMG went on to move to bigger and better things and enter Alicia M who really has done a good job as Kendall. So Erica is having her story put into the big screen and the girls were talking about who should play who and stuff like that and Kendall goes oh I know Sarah Michelle Gellar should play me and it was funny it really was. Ok yes I know soap junkie I am sorry I just love my soaps! SO I am just still sadden about it. And in keeping with sad news

I just learned that a co-worker passed away. She was more of a good friend to a good friend of mine and its just a sad day all around. This lady had stage four cancer and has been out for 9 months due to treatment. She leaves behind a son who just yesterday turned 15 years old. I can only hope that the father will step up and watch over his child's broken heart considering up to now the father/husband has been not positive and even made nasty comments like when she dies he can go live with his aunt. Sometimes it takes something tragic for people to see clearly how someone is. We always heard stories about him and you know to some extent blew it off but after hearing stuff that he has said just makes me happy to have a good family around me.

Ok DWTS update NBA star Metta Artest was booted off. His cha cha was a no-no and voters just did not seem to support him. Sorry dude I thought that lady who's only claim to fame was dating George Clooney was going to be the one to go.

Bitter sweet week

Well it is a very bitter sweet week for me this week. Sadly this is the last week All My Children will stop being aired as of Friday the 23rd. The show is wrapping up some stories and showing flashbacks of the core families and many previous characters and actors are making appearances. Watching the episode yesterday was kind of sad and nice. It was nice to see but sad to know it will be end - at least for now. Good news is that Prospect Park has picked up rights to the show and are presently in the planning stages of bringing it back. Will it be a different show? Yes of course it will be. Where will it aire? Well right now that is uncertain. Word has it that they are entertaining cable channel options and even better news is that some of the actors have already signed on the dotted line. Some have not like Susan Lucci aka Erica Kane. Pine Valley with no Erica Kane? I do not know how that is even possible? But I can understand her not wanting to stick her neck out anymore. She was on a book tour when "rumors" were going around that the show was cancelled and Dirt bag Brian Frons told her that is just a stupid blogger making things up. So when asked she repeated what was told to her stupid blogger well within days of that it becomes official the show was terminated. This made her look like a fool and she was not too happy about it. But more word has it that Agnes Nixon who created the show is stepping in to talk to Susan Lucci so lets just see how that goes. All I know is that I will miss the show. Heck I already miss it.

DWTS made its debut last night and every year I say the same thing and I am sorry I think I know what the problem is with the show its the judges. They are so obvious as to who they want to win and who they do not. They are harsh on some of them and considering it was episode number 1 you would think they would chill out. But hey I guess that is why they get paid the big bucks.

Rachel won

Ok the title tells it all Rachel the annoying laughing, no tears crying wench won Big Brother. Oh boy! Now Brendon is like right by her side the whole entire time. She went on the Talk and there he was in the parties and interview there he was. Now on TMZ there is a video clip of Rachel saying that they were getting married this weekend. Oh boy.

In other reality news Survivor aired their first show and it looks ok. That guy Brandon who is Russell's nephew is weird like his uncle. He has a tattoo actually two of them that read "Hantz" which is Russell's last name and he plans on not telling anyone who his uncle is. Ok so the question naturally is dude hello these people can read and his plan is to never take his shirt off?? Serisouly??? Oh this should be good.

Well there is only one more show left before the summer comes to an end and by the summer I mean my summer obsession - Big Brother. This Wednesday will mark the finale and thus BB will be over but do not worry viewers because Survivor will begin. I am not sure I will follow this one as closely as last time we shall see. When last I left off I gave a small prediction as to who would win part 2 of the HOH comp and I wish I could only be as accurate with lotto numbers because Porsche won. What this means is that Part 3 of the challenge will be between Rachel and Porsche and if memory serves me correct it will be a question and answer game. BB will ask jury members questions and it is up to them to try and guess how they will respond. So this makes me wonder who is better at knowing what a jury member might say. Ok you can say oh Rachel will know Brendon but does she really? I mean Brendon likes to think he is a rocket scientist oh wait a chemist and he may think he is being slick so who knows. It could be anyone's game. SO this pretty much leaves Adam out right? Not if you ask Adam. He has been planting seeds of doubt in each of their heads by telling them "You know I am the swing vote and I can influence others." He started this basically after Rachel told him that she was taking Porsche to the final two and Porsche had also agreed to take Rachel. So he starts telling them I am the swing vote and I can go either way and he went as far as to tell Porsche that Rachel has played a good hard game. The hopes is that one of them will think twice before sending him to the residency.

So the question is who will win Part 3 and will they take Adam?

Ah Big Brother was great! The end is near Sept 14th is the end of the series and on that day we will learn who will win BB. Last nights show showed Jordan leaving the house and this was no surprise. Then the plan is that Part one othe HOH comp will begin. So Part one began with the HGs hanging on mixers. Poor Adam was not doing well he does not do well on those so of course he was the first to fall off. The comp continued and next thing you know Porsche drops off leaving Rachel as the winner of part one. This means Rachel automatically advances to Part three and will face off against either Adam or Porsche. I wonder if Porsche is regretting sending Jordan to jury at this point? I'm just sayin...

So now a little prediction...sort of...This means part two will be Porsche against Adam and it should be a physical one which is clearly a disadvantage to Adam. So if that is the case it may be a safe prediction to say that Porsche and Rachel will face off in Part Three which will be a mental game. This could be anyone's game, Rachel was not always the best in those quiz games so who knows.

Big Brother Spoilers really quick

Ok so stuff has happened in the last few that just makes this game ever so fun.

Last nights show showed Kalia being evicted YEE PEE! Then we saw Adam finally win the spot of HOH. Now on to the spoilers:

Tonight is the live show and the last 24 hours was like the fast forward show a few weeks back, but this time they did the stuff within 24 hours and here is what happened...

Adam put up Jordan and Porsche on the chopping block. The POV was played and Porsche won it! The Veto meeting will be held tonight during the live show and if you saw last nights show Porsche had said in the Diary Room she was targeting Rachel if she would win HOH so one might think ok Rachel is gone since Porsche will be the sole vote....NOT. Apparently Porsche was heard saying to Adam that she was planning on evicting Jordan since Jordan already won once and gosh that is just not right that she may win again. So this means that Rachel will be in the final three with Porsche.

While I am a Jordan fan, I respect Porsche's decision because I think she realizes that if Jordan was in the final two with anyone there that Jordan will most likely win the whole thing again. So in that sense it was smart to get knock her out. But this means she needs to endure a physical competition with Rachel and we have recently seen Rachel do pretty well in physical comps and well Porsche...not so much. But if the comp was on sleeping then I would say Porsche will have it hands down, especially now that Kalia is gone. Ok sorry had to take a shot there. So let's think about the possible voting and who may win.

Adam: if Adam was up against Rachel I think Rachel would have it. He is seriously considered useless and a professional floater. If he was up against Porsche...humm that is interesting but I think Porsche may win too. I just do not see Adam winning.. Anything is possible.

Porsche: Is she went up against Rachel, then it may be a good fight but I am leaning towards Rachel winning.

Rachel: I think Rachel if she survives to the final two has a really good chance at winning it all.

But if any of those ladies thought about it (and I am sure they have) they would need to take Adam with them to the final two because I do not see him getting votes.

That is my view

Big Brother BUH BYE Shelly

Well tonight is it. Tonight we watch the know it all Shelly go into the jury house. This woman I have to say is a total trip. She sits there and for weeks if not from the beginning spews how she has never lied yet CBS has even aired her lying yet oh no she never lies. Ok you know what this is the BB game everyone lies but at least fess up to it when you go to the Diary room and talk to us! Don't lie when hello we are seeing you. Then last night she made a comment that makes me ask "Is she connected to reality?" She told Jordan you came in here already with a ready made alliance and so did I, so I sat there and went who the heck did she come in already connected with and then she makes the brilliant statement to her daughter and husband! WTF?? Really are they hiding under your bed? Are they in the whack shack? Because I swear I have not seen them and I have DVR recordings to prove it! Then she keeps referring how she is playing together with them and they are her alliance - to steal a Jerry Lewis line "HEY LADY!" So yeah I guess it is time to send her to jury to sit with those people she never lied to and always spoke so highly and nice about.

So is there any hope for Jordan or even Rachel? It all comes down to this next HOH comp. I am also thinking that perhaps its time for a luxury comp coming up soon.

A short rant

I may give a comment or two on Big Brother but right now I read something on Yahoo and it just makes me sad. I heard how ABC is getting slammed for bringing on Chaz Bono as one of their celebrities to dance. Why Chaz? Well we all know the answer to that question it is because Chaz was born a female but is now technically a man. He did this of his own free will after years of therapy and decision making, but apparently that is not good enough for many out there. All I keep thinking is who has the right to judge on a personal decision that a person makes in their life style? I mean he is not hurting anyone and it was his own choice to make so who gives people who do not know him the right to judge? I mean really? Can this world not grow up and stop judging people by the color of their skin, the life style they choose, the amount of money they make, the social standings they may or may not have? I now hope Chaz makes it far in the competition. He may not who knows what those hormones have done but I support his right to do it and not allow others to tell him how to live or in this case not live. Ok sorry that was my rant.

Ok Big Brother is pretty much the same as the last one or two line posting. Shelly is going home. Rachel and Jordan pretty much control the votes leaving Kalia the one sole vote but Kalia has already approached R and J and told them that she was to votes unified so she will vote whatever way they want. Which is no harm lost since Shelly was not one of Kalia's biggest fan.

So the live eviction is tomorrow night and Shelly will be joining Brandon, Daniele and Jeff. Can you imagine the look on their faces when they see her walk in?

Not a Big Brother post this time its DWTS

Ok so in a summer rare moment no Big Brother happenings. I think that things will remain the same for now meaning Shelly aka "she look-a-like-a man" will be the next member of the jury house.

Last night during Bachelor Pad the new cast of Dancing with the Stars was revealed and oh boy this should be an interesting season. Chaz Bono who is the only child of Sonny and Cher wil be competing and since he is technically a he will be paired with a female partner. I personally am looking forward to this and cannot wait to see him do the tango. Way to go Chaz! Other cast members are:

Nancy Grace - Do I even need to say anything about her? How will she be able to dance and keep her nose out of the political limelight? Didn't someone tell her that politicians are campaigning now? I guess its ok since Casey Anthony trial is over and done with - I wonder what she would of done if it wasn't.

David Arquette is another celebrity taking the dance routine. Courtney Cox and David are now ex's but get along very well I wonder if we will see her in the audience? I hope he stopped drinking because I am not sure I want to see a drunk celebrity trying to dance - wait or do I?

LA Lakers Ron Artest - I do not know anything about this guy so I will keep it clean. Oh boy another basketball player!

Ricki Lake - I actually kind of like Ricki Lake so I am looking forward to seeing her.

Chynna Phillips - If she does not make it to the end maybe they will give her a singing gig during the finals.

Kristin Cavallari - reality star. I hear she is from The Hills or was on that show I never saw it so I will take the press's word for it because we all know the press would never lie.

Carson Kressley - if there is one thing I know for sure is that Carson will look good dancing. I like Carson he is a bit over the top but that is his gimick and he does it so well.

Rob Kardashian - Oh Lordy another Kardashian putting themselves on TV. To borrow Daniele Donato's word "Shocker".

Hope Solo - Soccer Goalkeeper, Oh boy another athlete. I am not familiar with Hope so I will refrain from what I really want to say which is Soccer Goalkeeper is that like Vanna White's job as Official Letter-Turner? Yes I am kidding.

JR Martinez - Actor All My Children! Yeah ok I am a wee bit excited. With the end of AMC coming soon I am happy to see one of their stars out there dancing. Will he be the winner? No chances not they usually give that to the athletes and younger stars. But regardless I am happy to see a fellow soapie on here!

Alright so I may post from time to time on how things go lets see how it goes..

Not a quiet weekend in the Big Brother house - spoilers

One of the things I love about Big Brother is how things can change from day to day. Just when you think that the tide is changing in one direction BOOM someone does or wins something and it all changes.

When last we left off Porshe won HOH and a decision to make as to who to put up and as expected she put up Rachel and Jordan. No surprise there the lines were clearly drawn once the dust settled. Porshe's target was Rachel but you know what this is Big Brother and twists are part of the show enter - Pandora's Box! As we know Pandora's Box is a choice the HOH has to make to either open it or not to open it. The results can be good for the HOH but at what price? Well come on has anyone ever not opened Pandora's Box? Of course that little girl opened it. She got $10,000 BUT she has to split it with someone so of course she picks her girlfriend Kalia. Oh BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! The price for opening the box is that the remaining Houseguests will be playing as duos so of course they have to pair up. The HGs paired up as expected: Kalia and Porsche, Adam and Shelly, Jordan and Rachel. So now what does this mean for Jordan and Rachel? This means that they are playing as a duo if one of them wins the Power of Veto that person can remove both of them from the chopping block forcing the HOH to put another duo up and each duo will need to campaign individually to stay in the house.

So the POV comp was played and Rachel won! Yes she sure did! This means that Rachel has the power to remove herself and Jordan from the chopping block and force Porsche to put up one of her own Shelly and Adam - wah wah wah. And yes do not think for a minute she will not use it because she will, her name is not Lawon or Marcellas. So once she comes down they will go up and Rachel and Jordan will control the majority of the voting since there will only be 3 people voting. What a difference a game play makes huh? This means that Shelly is gone gone gone! BUH BYE. What is so funny is that Porshe's HOH stint caused her one of her own so much like Kalia's first stint. They have so much in common.

And in the meantime there is sweet floater Adam. This guy has been the pawn so many times and he is rarely the target. He has pretty much done nothing in the game and I have to wonder if any of them are thinking if they take Adam they can win since he has done nothing.

Big Brother a week's worth in one night - spoilers!

Ok so it has been a while and I am sorry about that but some of you already know the main spoilers. Last night was a world-wind of a night. In an effort to not have a super long post I will try to keep it simple. Can I even do that? We shall see...

Alright so Thursdays showed opened with us the audience already knowing that there was going to be a double elimination. The HGs did not know this somehow Adam (The newbie) told them that oh for sure it will be next week. Yeah I know with vets in the house you would think different.

So the live first eviction takes place and there was speculation that Daniele may have pulled off a Donato-miracle by having Shelly campaign for her and change votes. I almost wish she would of I would of liked to see that happen. I like Daniele but with that being said as a game-watcher she really is a strong player and at this point strong players need to be eliminated. I am actually impressed that Shelly had the balls to try and out right pick a side. I give her that and for Shellys game it would of been better to keep Daniele but if I am not so sure Daniele would of taken Shelly to the final two she is too close to Kalia. Speaking of Kalia...

So Dani leaves and the new HOH game is played and it comes down to Jordan and Kalia and Kalia wins. But she is told you need to put up two people in the next minute or two and well as expected she puts up Jeff and Rachel. Jeff's chances are not looking good at this point . He played hard and strong but he is a threat and threats need to go if you want to make it to the end. Now the next step is to do a Power of Veto comp and everyone except Jordan (WTF??) gets to play. The comp begins and Porche wins the POV! Ok this is still Thursday night - remember normally all this stuff happens within a the week. So Porche decides to leave the noms as they are. Ah yeah you think since your alliance is HOH? Now next step is to go and do live voting the votes come down to a tie (Jordan and Adam voted to evict Rachel) the other two voted to evict Jeff so it comes down to Kalia to break the tie and of course she kicks Jeff out. So Jeff leaves. (The end of an era). Now I was thinking at this point you know Kalia is thinking ok my reign is over I better still get my food basket.

But wait there is more! This means that we need a new HOH for the week. So the game begins again and as the theme has been going Porche wins HOH. So who will she put up? Rachel is a sure bet and chances are she will put Jordan up too speaking of Jordan.

I read that last night Shelly and Jordan got into an all out yelling fight that Rachel had to pull Jordan out of the room and try to calm her down! Jordan was even yelling "That Bitch!" Ok now this is the one time I wish I did get the live feed because just for that alone I would use the play back feature to see.

In other news Kalia has made a secret alliance with Adam for final two. Kalia told Adam oh don't worry no one will vote for me. Ah yeah really? I guess on her part its smart because Adam is considered the biggest floater since he floats from HOH to HOH and kisses their behind so Kalia can say hey I played the game he has not.

Whatever team you are on I am for one happy to finally see GAME PLAY!

Big Brother here we go again

Spoiler alert!

This could be a long one but I will try to just give brief highlights.

Thursday: Apparently America voted for Brendon to return to the BB house. I am like ok whatever. I think people just thought Rachel was leaving and wanted to see his look when he had to battle it against her. Well if that would of happened I believe we all know what would of happened. Brendon would of ever so bravely let the chick win. Alright so Brendon returns back and has to battle against Lawon for coming back into the house. Lets just say while Lawon had balls in his hands he could not do anything with them because Brendon ended up winning. So he returns back in and Rachel straddles him.

Later on that same night the HOH competition is played and Daniele comes out victorious. Kalia is happy too because he girlfriend won and they can go back upstairs and eat and sleep together.

More spoilers:

One of Dani's duties is to nominate two people for eviction so she ever so cleverly put up Adam and Shelly. I think at this point her target is Shelly but secretly she would love to put up Brendon or Rachel. So they go up she tells each of them they are just a pawn.

Fast Forward to POV the game was played and Adam won POV. So now Dani has to make a decision who will go up. I think she is planning on putting up Brendon because she feels he will be evicted again but Dani is so out of touch with what is going on in the house she may have a rude awakening.

So other stuff won was Daniele won a POV ticket so she will play in the next POV. Jeff won some money. Jordan has a wear a stupid "unitard". They call it a unitard but it really looks stupid. The outfit has a too-too and a hat that reads "Dunce." I like Jordan and I think that was done on purpose because the previous season unitards were not like that, so I am kind of disappointed in CBS for doing that. Shelly won 24 hour confinement and a phone call from home, Kalia won a vacation.

So now we wait until the Daniele makes her choice which should be some time today.

Tonight one person leaves only to have another return

In a nut shell that is it. We already know that tonight one person will be evicted. And while in the beginning I thought it was Rachel I have to admit I am not so sure anymore just because of all the "deals". Lawon heard that there is a chance he is being evicted and he is sitting back getting his tan and trying to look well I don't know what he is trying to look like but he seems to feel that he will be turning around and coming right back in - and well that is a possibility. I surely hope not I had of Marcellas reincarnated.

The last few days have been much of the same. The house seems to be civil to each other. Jordan and Jeff have pretty much figured out the twist but I do not think many of the others believe them. Lawon is certain that if he is evicted he will return with some ultimate power and he is power hungry. Kalia has no clue what is going on but she likes the new cupcakes and hamburgers on hand. Although Kalia did mention to her boss (Dani) that she is happy that she has not ate so much this week. Really???? Danielle poor Dani is having a hard time controlling her peeps from talking to other people. Shelly well all Shelly wants to do right now is win HOH so she can get stuff from her monsters and family. Yeah she seems to be begging the others to let her win HOH.

BB was nice to our houseguests by giving them a mid way house party to celebrate. This was done with the feeds off because part of the fun was music along with pizza wine and fun. So this got everyone happy and in a happy mood.

So tonight will tell all who is leaving, who returns and who will be the new HOH. Also one thing to note next week the person who gets evicted will be the first member of the jury.

Big Brother talk

Oh boy Rachel has got to be feeling on top of the world because if one was to believe what the HGs have been saying then Lawon is gone. They know that who ever leaves has a chance to come back in however they do not know how that will happen. They have no idea that they have to battle an evicted HG. Rachel has been talking to the cameras ever since Brendon left. She feels he went home and has been wathing the live feeds so she wants to feel close to him and has been talking to it. Yesterday while in the house chit chatting Jeff mentioned in speculating about what if the person leaving has to do something against one of the former evicted houseguest and the person who wins would come back. A few of them laugh and Jordan even said to Rachel wouldn't it be funny to see Daniele's face if Brendon came back in and how weird would it be this whole time you talking to the camera and he is at some hotel room locked up. Sometimes I think the girl needs more credit then she is given ok and Jeff too. I guess Jeff since he did mention it first.

Other things happening that are part of their operating procedure Daniele is sleeping in the HOH room and Kalia is there too but she gets up occassionally to go eat and Shelly walks in to talk to them and then she leaves and they are like well we need to watch what we tell her because she snitches..DUH really?

In the day Rachel did go talk to Dani and Kalia because now was the right time you see Kalia would not talk to Rachel unless Dani was there and now she was. Well Dani controlled the whole conversation she made the "deal" about keeping Rachel safe. Rachel asked her would you vote to get me out and Dani would just say things like this is a huge trust I am giving if I was. But in the end Dani said she would keep Rachel safe and not to say a word to anyone outside of the HOH room. Rachel left and Kalia is like oh I like the deal "I" just made! Real Kalia you made the deal?? Because I swear I think that was Daniele talking the whole time? Now like a good little soldier Rachel did not reveal any of their conversation. Jordan asked Rachel did you make a deal with them or did they offer you a deal and Rachel just answered "No." All Jordan had to say was "I am surprised."

So by all appearances it seemed it was an easy out for Rachel and the tide changed and it seems to appear she is staying in the house.

Big Brother and other reality spoiler news

Ok so before we get to the star of the show (Big Brother) a little summary on Bachelor Pad. Scandal sex and lies. Yeah that was the gist of it all.

Ok Jake was once a bachelor and picked Vienna as his love for life well as things go they broke up and it was ugly, nasty and very public - mainly because they took part in an interview to talk about the break up and he went off on the girl. She is no angel but the dude went off like Pee Wee Herman peeking into Michael Jackson's bedroom. So of course she is one of the girls in the bachelor pad show and for about half the night it was will Jake be one of the guys or won't he. Well hello we all know he will heck even she knew. So of course she starts planting seeds of doubt on anyone who will listen about how horrible he is and how scared she is. This makes Vienna's current boyfriend - Kasey - very upset because he is her protector (and a former bachelor contestant). Enter Jake she ignores he saids hello she ignores. There is a challenge and he wins and offers her a rose to stay as a peace offering but she wants nothing of it.

Needless to say this show will focus on this triangle mainly because it makes for good tv but there will be more drama coming. Now on to Big Brother

Word on the street has it that

Porsche, Jeff and Jordan want to save Rachel. Then on the other side of the house Rachel has been trying to make deals with Kalia and Danielle about staying. Honestly at this point I have no idea why anyone is bothering with Kalia her job is done there is nothing she can do at this point its all in the hands of the voters. Ok so each side thinks they are being sneaky. Kalia and Dani talk to Rachel about keeping them safe and getting the votes but in the meantime the other side (Jeff Jordan Porsche) want to keep Rachel. Then you have to wonder about Lawon. Lawon volunteered to go up as a replacement nominee, so when Jeff removed himself Lawon was put up. He is so happy about it. Oh yes very happy he just keeps saying I love it I so love it because I will turn around and come right back in and make everyone miserable. And Marcellas thought that when he was born the mole was broken...nope it sure wasn't.

What I find interesting is that Kalia made this whole big speech about making her own decisions and not being influenced yet she does not want to talk to Rachel without Danielle being there. Like she told her I do not want to talk to you without Danielle here. How is that for independence?

Spoilers recaps Big Brother God I love reality shows

Here we are the weekend is over and reality shows are in full swing. Big Brother had some stuff that happened this weekend and I will get to that in a minute. But tonight (Monday) is the start of Bachelor Pad on ABC. Lord have mercy, the sex, the drama, the fights will begin. Bachelor Pad is the summer show from the Bachelor/Bachelorette producers. Basically they take about 12 or 14 former Bachelors and Bachelorettes and stick them in this house to compete. At one point they pair up and the last couple standing will win $250,000. That is a whole lot of money. Some hook up and some don't. But what will be interesting to see is the last idiot publicity whore(s) Jake and Vienna. Oh yeah both are on the show. She claimed he was a publicity whore and accused her of the same thing - yet they both live in Los Angeles and are on this show - you decide who is the bigger one. I will say he was very unclassy when he decided to get really ugly to her in an interview where he called her names and was just a dirt bag. Ok enough of that noise.

Big Brother! Oh boy. Ok this is what has aired and we already know. The Head of Household is Daniele's puppet girl - Kalia. I know Kalia claims that she is making her own decisions but come on Kalia no you are not just admit it. But she is at least playing strong and I will give her credit for that.

Kalia put up Jeff and Rachel for nominations and her target is Rachel. She does not care that she knows someone is coming back in.

Jordan went off on Kalia which was really pretty darn cool!

The Have and Have Not competition was done and Shelly, Jeff, Jordan, and Rachel were in the losing side and are Have Nots for the week.

Spoilers spoilers spoilers

Alright so over the weekend the Power of Veto was played and Jeff won the POV! So of course Jeff will remove himself and the question is who will he put up. It depends on who you listen to her talking. Kalia claims she will put up Adam or Lawon and I am not so sure. We know she will not put up Daniele and she should put up Porsche but I am not so sure she will because she has been up her behind a lot. Although Lawon can be the one since apparently he volunteered himself to Kalia, he feels he will come right back in. Hum lets think about that Lawon is evicted and he goes up against Dominic?? Not sure I think it will be a battle between Rachel and Dominic fighting to come back in.

We do not know right now who will be put up but at last count it is between Lawon (who volunteered), Porsche or Adam. Shelly keeps talking to Kalia about putting up Porsche and then Daniele comes behind her and talks Kalia out of it.

Once I hear who is up I will let you all know.

A newbie won on Big Brother

Well a new day has begun in the Big Brother house and perhaps a new era. As expected Brendon was voted out of the house. And what was so funny was listening to him talk ops I mean CRY to Julie Chen! He sat there and as he tried to talk he got all choked up. Now the question is was he crying because he is going to miss his wonderful fiance or was he crying because he realized he made a mistake by saving Rachel and not himself. I don't know I am just glad the dude is out of there.

So this upcoming week will be interesting. Kalia will have to put two people up and Rachel will go up at least I am pretty sure she will. The question is who will she put up against Rachel. The talk is Jeff and they seem to be very worried about it. It will be interesting to see what happens.

One thing I hope Kalia thinks about is that whoever leaves may come back so perhaps its best to not put up someone who is a strong competition player. In that case put up Rachel and let it ride! What I expect is that Rachel will think that Brendon will be voted back and it will be even more funny to see her face when he is NOT coming back. Seriously I cannot see America voting for Brendon to come back in.

Big Brother lots to reveal spoilers and lots to talk about

Ok here is what we know Brendon and Jordan are on the chopping block. Jordan and Jeff were not surprised and I think they feel secure enough that they have the votes but do not be so sure. I am totally sure who will be going but I know who I want out---Brendon. Oh but lets hope he stays out. Because according to some spoiler sites CBS is planning on making an America's Choice on bringing an evicted house guest back. Now we know Evel Dick will not be one of them so that leaves Cassie, Keith, Dominic and who ever leaves tonight lets just say Brendon. Oh please America if that is the case and Brendon leaves oh please do not vote him back in! Please lets keep him out!

So I thought I would mention something that was funny weird. If you record the Big Brother After Dark you will catch it on the August 2nd play, it was Brenchels Trash Bag Wedding. Yes the Happy Couple had a Trash bag wedding. I am serious Brendon wore a lovely liner of trash bag with a small twist around his neck to create a tie while Rachel was covered in what appeared toilet paper? Or some while lining type complete with a home made aluminium foil belt and head piece. She had a flower girl (Kalia) and her own ring bearer (Adam in the Elf costume). Now because they are not allowed to sing due to rights and ownership of the songs they had to clap and say "For she is a jolly good fellow" Now isn't that just so romantic? I know these two couples when they were young laying in bed dreaming of one day when they grow up and get married they would be in a house with 8 other people and specially made Trash Bag outfits..yeah special. Well you may ask but wait who did the ceremony? We shall get to that...Jordan was the maid of honor, Porsche was a guest, Jeff was the best man, Danielle blew bubbles into the air and the preacher was Lawon! Yes Lawon did his best Little Richard and preached about LOVE and how LOVE IS IN THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE! Look it was better then watching them sleep, eat and lay around looking at each other without saying a word.

So who is leaving tonight? My money is on Brendon.

Big Brother it all changes daily

Well here is the latest and greatest including spoilers. Hope you like them.

Rachel and Brendon are on the chopping block and Brendon won POV which means he has the power to remove either himself or the other person making the HOH put someone else up in their place. Brendon had been saying he was going to remove himself but you know I was not sure about that because he is a con and a con is a con and as expected Brendon saved Rachel. BLA BLA BLA.

Once it happened Daniele was heard saying "This is great this is perfect this is exactly what I wanted to happen if I didn't win HOH I would be nominated." Well she right about that.

Since Brendon saved Rachel Daniele put up Jordan. The hope is that she feels Jordan has enough votes to save herself and send Brendon home. I am not so sure on that but it is possible.

Lawon and Adam were talking at one point to each other and Lawon said the classic loser line "This is our house now, this is our turn to break it down." Nice dude. One thing to note is that Shelly originally looked like she was with Brendon and Rachel and they had told Shelly that Rachel was going to stay, heck even Rachel told Shelly to "take care of Brendon" so now Shelly must be like oh you lied. So maybe she might not be so quick to align.

Thursday night is eviction any guesses who is leaving? And will there be someone coming back?

Big Brother Happenings including Spoilers

Ok so this is what we know so far.
Daniele won Head of Household (HOH) and is "Back in the game!" One of her first duties is to put two people up for eviction and as expected she put up Brendon and Rachel. Of course Rachel pouted boo hoo poor me bla bla bla. So the campaigning begins.

Spoilers

The POV competition was held and the winner was Brandon. Yeah seriously I cried too. Now Brandon on the show said he would take Rachel down however, recently on live feeds he has been singing a different tune. He has actually been saying that he sees that he has a better chance of going further then she does. This is actually true considering that he is a little better at the social game and he does tend to play rather well. So as of yet there is no word on what has been done if this changes I will see what I can do about posting it. Here are my personal thoughts:

Daniele - I am so loving that she is fierce! I love that she is not afraid to go after Brenchel. She does need to watch herself a little bit but never underestimate the power of a Donato.

Brenchel - I only wish there was a way to get rid of both of them this week.

Jeff and Jordan - My sweetheart couple. In a perfect world they would both go down to the end and this time Jeff would win. But Jordan this season seems to be talking a little more game then I have heard her talk in the past so I am happy for that.

Porsche - You know I liked this girl because she is from down here (South Florida - Miami Beach!) but she is aligning herself with Brenchel and that is never a good thing. I see some catty stuff coming out. The girl is walking a thin line. BUT, the girl right now is doing what many who have gone far in Survivor have done control the environment. Porsche seems to be doing a lot of cooking! One might say if you control the environment you control to an extent the game.

Kalia - She can be strong. I think she is part of that old saying "Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are." And right now she is aligned with Daniele who is strong and fierce. Kalia seems to be a little strong and fierce too but I feel she needs to step that up a little and try better in the social game.

The others left are alright. I love Adam's Elf costume. He is funny. On the feeds he has been very positive about it and he is making the most of it. He does not seem to be on any one's radar which is actually good because in the past whoever wears the costume ends up walking out in it. Even though there has been small talk on putting him up when one of the Brenchels come down there are others on the list. There is talk about putting up Porsche who has been a tail to Brenchel and Shelly who no one really seems to know what side she is on.

Who should go up? Here is a question that was asked of me...Who is your favorite newbie (either present or evicted)?

Big Brother is finally ON! Yeah Spoilers baby!

OK all I have to say is now we have a game! Let me do a little recap. Daniele the master manipulator (next to her dad of course) had her puppet boy (Dominic) going around doing her dirty work. Let's face it Dominic is a newbie in the true sense of the word. Not only is he a virgin but he never has seen Big Brother before. I am not big on that one as many people that try out and CBS has to go out and recruit someone but whatever. So here somes Daniele and yeah he is a young snot nose little dude who wants to impress the girl and play this game he has never seen before, except that he got busted. Meaning he got called out and well snot nose little puppet boy had to call out Daniele. Which is fine because you know what Daniele is a big girl and she can handle herself. Then we have the resident Bullies Brenchel better known as Brendon and Rachel. Both have this stupid idiot of a power trip. Brendon sits back and its like he is waiting for people to come and kiss his hand and when they don't he cops an attitude. Rachel walks around like hey I am the queen and yes I do walk on water and you better bow down to me and "my fiance". They do this big blow up (aka house meeting) and pretty much cause Dominic to be voted out. BUH BYE. Now comes the competition and its an endurance oh yeah endurance. Be very afraid because Daniele can endure and she is a powerful one when she can play and last night she was allowed to play! And play she did!

Spoilers

The endurance was hanging on these skies and of course the usual snow and movement. Basically who ever is the last person standing wins HOH. Now to make it interesting they placed out some snowballs for some of the people who fall and all they told them was some is good, some is bad and one is $10,000. Here is how it went:

Lawon - first person to fall and as a result of bad snowball picking it made him a Have Not (wah wah wah).

Adam - oh boy second man down and his prize He has to wear an Elf Suit!! Yeah I am laughing just thinking about it too.

Brendon - 3rd dude down (Guess the king can't hold on to any throne) Anyway his lovely falling prize was to be a Have-Not. Serisously I would of preferred for Brendon to wear the Elf Suit. I would of paid money for him to do that.

Jeff - came down afterwards and won $10,000. Now this sounds nice and it is but BB history is not always positive for those that win that money. More on that later.

Jordan fell afterwards and is a Have-Not.

The rest of the order was (and with no prizes) Porsche, Shelly, Kalia saids "Promise you won't put me up?" and down she goes and Evil Dick's daughter Daniele Donato is now the new HOH!

Folks we have a game because amazingly Brenchels have no smile on their face? Gee I wonder why? I am sure Evil Dick is so proud.

As Daniele opening remark as HOH "Looks like I am back in the game!" Yeah baby you sure are!

Now last night Rachel had to wipe that smug grin she has had for the last couple weeks and go crawling to talk to Daniele she apologized to her. But you know there is something about a Rachel apology that just comes off as fake. Daniele told Rachel look girl I was never after you but you started after me and Rachel tried to basically say you know we need to stick together meaning the vets. Rachel did try to save Jeff and Jordan or more Jeff but Daniele made no promises. Jeff is really worried he is out he is pretty much out but did say to Jordan I will worry more after the veto is played.

Now in the night Daniele did talk to Jordan and Jeff and told them that they were safe this week and she asked them to keep her safe next week if either of them win HOH. They said yes they would but Jeff privately is not sure that Daniele really means it. He really wants to win POV to secure his stay.

I am not certain that Rachel's alone talk with Daniele did any good but one thing is for sure Brendon was not happy about it. He told Rachel "what have I told you about talking to her alone?" Really Brendon? Is that how you have to talk to her like a child and not a woman? Oh yeah that is right because she is a spoiled little bratty baby...yeah ok I got it.

Throughout the night Brenchels have been having an "oh poor me" party where one of them said "From the penthouse to the outhouse." Yeah I must admit that is about right and the fall is so much harder when you have to eat crow on the way down. Now we just need for Daniele to get them out! I want to say yes she will and signs lead to that she will but you know in that house things change. As long as no one does any big moves or screaming matches chances are Dani will place Brenchels up and then lets hope neither one of them win POV.

Big Brother last minute scheming

It appears the Brenchels and Jeff and Jordan have figured out Danielle is all hot for Dominic. DUH. SO now the plan is to dump Dominic on Thursday because after all we will not give Danielle what she wants. Big Brother updates including spoilers

The terror of Brenchel continues. If you watched the show then you know that not only was the idiot of the season in charge of the house again but she has not changed in her idiot ways. I feel like this week is a total carbon copy of the first week? Not exciting at all. Evil Dick really why did you leave?? I know it must of been important for him to leave but gosh darn it I know you would of made something exciting happen by now. Here is what has been happening and please be warned there are spoilers in here so if you do not want to know then you may want to stop right now.

Ok first we approach the next competition of power and that is the Power of Veto. This is the big power where this person can literally take off the nominees forcing the HOH to put up another team. So along comes Rachel who wins HOH and puts up Dominic and Adam. Surprise surprise and they each tell them oh hey you are the pawn we so love you and we are here for you. But not so much because Brenchel are having doubts about Dominic. Now our girl Daniele gets a hold of this news and gets peeved because after all Dominic is her Bitch Boy. Sorry no other way to put it. He is a virgin and wet behind the ears and well Dani is not. No really he is a virgin I am not kidding... Alright so she does not like this and goes to talk to Brenchel who are like hey what is your problem. Brendon is basically questioning why Dani is so strong on keeping Dominic and Dani is like well you told me to bring him on board and I did and now you want me to not keep him here and Brenchel are like ah yeah why do you want him here so much? I mean Dani is working her angle. Dani has a point she is working alone because everyone has a partner and she does not and Brenchel are well they are clueless.

Ok so the POV is held and get out the tissues Brendon won. I know Brenchel continues. This caused brenchel to discuss if they wanted to change their nominations and possibly get rid of Jeff and Jordan. Yeah right like WTF? I too am like wanting to step in that house and go ok go walk out I am done with this nonsense. Well after back and forth discussions and lots of campaigning the POV Meeting was held and Brendon decided not to use the POV and keep everything the same.

So what this means is that as of right now the target is Adam and he will be going home.

I swear there better be a turn of events on Thursday night!

Big Brother OH BROTHER RACHEL AGAIN!

Rachel OFF! Yeah Jeff said it best she is like that annoying mosquito you keep hearing and you want to squash! And now we have to tolerate her as HOH for a week. We are going to have to hear "This is my house with MY MAN and I am taking it back!" Why why why Jordan did you not just get rid of her. Gosh I like Jordan I really do but I so wish she would of evicted her out. SO now we need to sit and listen to her crap. The only good thing is that by the time her term is up she will have pissed more people off and they will be super big targets, thus, giving my J&J a longer stay. I think I would of even liked to have Lawon as HOH before seeing Rachel get it again.

So quickie recap:

All votes were to get rid of Cassi. She was not surprised she knew it was coming everyone told her so she was not hit hard. I liked Cassi I think she got a bum wrap. So Cassi leaves and next is the HOH Competition and we are all sadden to see Rachel win. Enough on that. So now the question is who will Rotting Rachel nominate. I think Rotting Rachel may actually put up my Happy Couple J&J yes I do think she will do that. Unless she decides to take aim at Daniele. For now that is my guess.

Big Brother recap and my commentary

SO last night was Big Brother and OH Brother Rachel needs to go. Seriously since when did this game turn to the Rachel Brother show? She actually was upset at Jordan because OMG Jordan is not playing for her and Brendon? No way? Really? I am beginning to feel that Rachel needs to go. Brendon will turn into a little pee-brain when she is gone and spew how mad he is and then he will shout "This is for you Rachel honey I love you!" bla bla bla...It only means he is the next target. SO since today I am Thursday morning Quarterback here is what I think should go down: No this is not what will happen just what I feel should happen.

Thursday Shelly should get evicted. (She still look-a-and-sound-a-like a man) Gone Shelly tootles. Then when the HOH comp is being played, Jeff should win it and he should put up Kalia and Lawon. Now while I seriously dislike Lawon they are not the targets. The true targets are Brendon and Rachel with Rachel being the one to leave. By not putting B&R up first there is always a chance that they will not play for the POV and therefore be left defenseless. This way you split the duo up and spare us viewers from listening to Rachel.

Then once Rachel is out of there the new HOH game will begin and lets give it to the newbie Dominic. Yes Dominic you heard right. I am still not 100% Team Dominic because he is a snot nose little brat but I think he earned it.

SO as long as Jeff or Jordan win the whole game everything else can be played out accordingly.

Sounds reasonable?

Be on the alert tonight is Big Brother no tonight is not an eviction night it should be filled with what has happened nothing live should go on. Now here is what I expect to see; The POV game and we will see Dominic win, then he will remove himself and Adam from the chopping block. Then, Jordan will put up Shelly and Cassi. Hopefully along the way we will see some of the backstabbing and scheming like how Jordan and Jeff have been discussing cutting out Brendon and Rachel (God I hope so!). I think we may see Danielle and Dominic action ok not that kind of action but I hear they are getting "close". Still planned for tomorrow is for Cassi to be evicted.

Reality Recap with spoilers baby!

Well here we are again a Tuesday and what do I have on my mind? Why Big Brother of course!

When last we left of...Dominic had won the POV and of course was planning on using it to remove himself and Adam from the chopping block. Jordan was planning on putting Cassi and Shelly up in their place. So did that happen? Ah yeah!

Yes Dominic removed himself and Adam (and yes I do not blame you we don't want another Marcellass incident) and of course Jordan put Cassie and Shelly up and apparently the majority of the house wants Cassi gone and she knows it and is playing the part of Mary Miserable. Dominic is trying to give her hope. She is not going to stop but I am not sure it will work. Also there seems to be friction within the veterans because somehow Jeff heard or suspects that Brendon and Rachel may be hooking up with Dominic and Adam and this is making Jeff one mad Jeff. Eventually people will have to turn on each other but will it be so quick? Yeah might as well.
Word has it that Rachel is on slop because of some comp where it was like "what are you willing to give up" type of thing. Also it appears that the veterans are becoming more split mainly like those who hate Cassi and those who do not hate Cassi. Brendon, Rachel, Dani all seem to hate Cassi. I also believe Jeff and Jordan are not on team Brenchel.

So in Bachelorette news she is now down to the final 3 she let Ames go. Buh Bye pretty boy.

In none reality news The man and I will be attending the Brian Wilson concert at the Seminole Hard Rock on August 5th.

Happy Monday and here is what is happening in the latest Big Brother saga. As you know there are spoilers here so if you do not care for them sorry wrong place! Let's begin with Big Brother!

As we know Adam and Dominic are on the chopping block and I for one was happy because I do not care for Dominic but ok whatever... Over the weekend a POV was held and the players were Jeff, Jordan, Rachael, Brendon, Adam, and Dominic and Danielle hosted. Almost seems like a slam dunk don't you think? Not so much B&R decided that perhaps they wanted to help out Dominic and Adam and throw the comp so that one of them would win ensuring that Jordan would put up Cassie and Shelly and they would kick out Cassie. But as someone oh so wise once said to me "Rachael hates women and is very insecure of them" so here is another Rachael sparked insecurity coming out. Well the comp went underway and oh boy cupcakes...Dominic won POV!!! Seriously? Did those two nerds really do that? I guess they did. So now they think that Jordan will put up Shelly and Cassie and they could kick out Cassie. I almost hope that Jordan puts up someone else oh like B&R!!! But chances are lovely sweet Jordan won't do something like that because she feels she needs to be loyal to the group.

Now one more spoiler but for another show..The Bachelorette

First I have to say Ashley is really a super boring chick. Plus she is not the brightest and I suspect she is a bit naive. Tonight is the hometown dates and from I hear Ames will be the one sent home but what will be more interesting to see is next week's episode which are the over night dates. Here is what I hear is going to happen. Constantine (is that even a guy's name?) well Mr. C ends up eliminating himself. Normally these are over night dates which mean that they go on a very romantic date and then at the end of the night are given the option of spending the night together a super luxury suite. It's optional to spend the night together but I cannot begin to think of one person who has yet to say no. I think one person said no once...Anyway Constantine will not just say no but eliminate himself before it gets to that. Now what is the reason you may ask? Well I am not sure rumor has it that it could be for religious reasons. I think it may be wise to watch tonights show to see how he is with his family and if any religion gets brought up here. So this means that the pickins are now down to the final two! JP and Ben are the final two. Yes I know who she picks...Not sure if I should post it...oh ok I will I hear she picks...JP and is engaged to him..

Oh boy this is so very good! The preacher boy player is out of there! Ok I am sorry but this guy deserved to go go go! So a new head of household contest was done and well Jordan won. Of course when Jeff and Brandon went up they obviously threw the comp and basically gave her the win. Now of course we do not know if they would of won had they actually tried but that is ok because that is the way the cookie crumbles.

So as of right now we are waiting to see who she will nominate. If you listen to talk in the house Jordan plans on putting up Dominic and Adam. They will plan on trying to make deals with both of them but they have already approached Adam and so they may stick with that. Now Dominic is the one that refuses to talk to the veterans because gosh they do not have his best interest. Gee you think? So now he said he will not bow down to them or approach on making deal. Well lets see how far that takes you in the Big Brother house Dominic. I believe you need to go now.

BB Update and comparisions

Busy week meant to write some Big Brother updates but that just never seemed to happen. Ok so its been a week since the show started and my emotions have gone from way high to low. Yes due to ED leaving. Sorry but when you have Evil Dick in the mix it's always interesting. Developments have it right now that Porsche and Preacher Boy Keith are up. I personally hope the preacher child goes back to church. This got me to thinking ok prior to the show starting I saw some sample interviews and made my "first impression" on some of them. So let's take a look at how they are now a week into the show:

Lwson, I said I hated. I believe I said something like Hate him! Ok I still do not like him but there are others I dislike more but rest assure he is not on the like list.

Keith - Oh Keith. Ok I really did not write how I liked him but wrote about how stupid he was for having a whole plan made without even knowing what was in there. Todays's view HATE HIM! Sorry I do not like him. I so hope he leaves tonight.

Kalia - Was going in expecting everyone is lying. Well she seems pretty much playing that part. I cannot tell yet who she really likes I do not think she likes anyone. Smart move.

Dominic seemed boring to me. He still is boring but I recently realized he is another one of these players who apparently has never seen BB and is like a snot nose little brat. I hope someone has him for dinner. But he is alright.

Adam - I wrote he seems nice and well I still think he is nice oh yeah I think he shaved but the red bandana tied up in a knot around his bald head really has to go. It's hard to come off tough once you are seen with that on.

Ok thats about it. So the question at large is who is leaving. Depending on the hour it could be Porsche or it could be preacher boy. I hope its preacher boy.

To feed or not to feed

OH boy it is back and this season is going to be great! There are things I like and there are things I don't like and there will be spoilers so if you do not like spoilers well sorry you have come to the wrong place. So lets give a small recap of what happened on Big Brother.

The show began and we met the 8 houseguests and what is funny is that some of their personalities were not the same as in the video CBS had where they were being asked questions. I still do not like Lawon - sorry the dude is Marcellaus reincarnated. But some of them were thinking wait there is something funny because there are only 8 of us and 10 place settings. Yeah can you tell how smart they are already? Then they are told hey guys you are not the only guests some others will be coming and before you know it ring a ding ding enter Brendon and Rachel. Oh be still my heart please no not another Brenchel. And as they are all getting to know each other knock knock enter Jeff and Jordan! Oh yes now with J&J there you know what I can tolerate the other two and I am sitting there happy as a clam and bingo enter Dick and Danielle! OMG this is going to be an awesome season! I can picture it now Dick and Rachel going at it. Oh its just going to be brilliant. So they had their first HOH competition and it was hanging on a banana, yes I said banana and while hanging chocolate was thrown at them. I can hear you laughing and shaking your head but yes this is how it happened one by one they went down and eventually Rachel came out ahead.

So here is how this will work everyone was paired off into teams of two. This means you are a team until its over and its over when you are put up for nomination. Once you are nominated then you are split and let the campaigning begin. But if you are NOT evicted in the first 4 weeks you are given a spot in the top 10. So one of Rachel's first duties is to nominate and here is where the spoiler is because this was not shown on the show but Rachel has nominated Porsche and Keith.

So good news is the season looks good but as of this morning it appears Dick is missing and there is a rumor that he may have been disqualified for revealing that he was going to be on the show prior to the show being on. He left a video message to be released today or last night but this means he would of had to tell someone. I hope he is not gone because it really will put a damper on the season but only time will tell.

But my one question is to Live Feed or not to Live Feed?

Tonight is it

Oh yes tonight Big Brother alrighty this is awesome and I cannot wait for it and I must say another certain person that resides with me cannot wait either. The jury is still out on paying for live feeds chances are we will not since we can get enough information from the web.

Now to continue the good news, if you recall back in April I went and ranted about my wonderful daytime soaps ending and yes I have to admit I was/am upset about it. Now I am not over it I am still upset HOWEVER, there is good news. Prospect Park a production and media company founded in 2009 has purchased the rights and leased agreements for One Life to Live (OLTL) and All My Children (AMC). What this means is that the shows will be able to stay and keep coming to the fans once their "end" date comes. It will be mostly online and I am hearing some possible internet based TVs should be able to catch them. Yeah I am sadden that they are even moving but the fact is that they are still alive...this is because don't mess with soap fans WE RULE!

Now back to the game of life...

Almost time

As the days get closer to Big Brother time the news and rumors grow. This is actually part of the excitement. I recently took a tour of the new Big Brother house (via video tour ) and it looks very beachy. It's actually decorated to Venice beach so this means that there is bright colors, surfboards, graffiti and oh yes a fortune teller machine. This should be interesting...at least I surely hope it will be.

One of the news flying around is that there will be a duo coming back into the house to compete for the money and CBS has placed a few former HGs as possible duos. I see Jessie the bod is back on the list and I hope not how many times can they get that jerk back in there? The dude is so stuck on himself that he has a hard time walking straight. Although word has it that is a persona he plays and that when one really knows him away from the cameras he is not like that. Sorry this guy walks around kissing himself and body and acts like a total idiot who barely remembers the alphabet and I am suppose to believe he does that on purpose?? Reaslly? Seriously? So I really hope he does not go back in. Another is the Brendon and Rachel or as the BB groupies call them Brenchel. I think I can tolerate him but her voice and laugh can be a bit annoying after a while so I hope not. Dick and Danniele Donato is another on the list and while Dick won first place and Dani won 2nd I am not so sure they could make it a second time. Now another on the list is Dr Will and Boogie aka Chilltown...Really again? Both have won so how in the world could they con a group to keep them in there?

The one thing I do know is that there is something we have not seen yet left to happen and I suspect there may be more then a duo going back in the house because of what we do know already. Here is what we know they have released the names and videos of the 8 houseguests. Yes 8 this is far short of the usual 12-14 players so does this mean we will get 3 sets of duo's going back in? Or another duo such as twins...oh dear will BB try that twin thing again? I don't think it worked out too well last time they did it so yeah lets try it again!

Whatever it is I am getting all excited about it.

Big Brother is right around the corner

Ok so it took Big Brother being days away for me to post. Sorry I actually meant to do it earlier but just never remembered. But July 7th marks the start of our summer house watching sensation Big Brother. No we NOT going to get the Live Feed this year ...well not yet.

Ok so CBS has put out there some interviews with Houseguests plus they state that there will be a "couple" that are going in to try and win the money. So I can only hope its not Brendon and Rachel or Jessie and Natalie. I so hope not!

In the meantime I looked at the videos and here are some impressions of the people I saw interviews on. This is interesting because this is just a first glance 2 minute interview and it will be interesting to see how it changes as the summer starts. So here are my comments/impressions:

Shelly- Not sure how I feel about her but she looks like at one time in her life she was a man. Yeah even her voice sounds manish but she claims she is married with a daughter. Lets see how that goes.

Lawon - Hate him! Oh no no he needs to go and I have not even seen him in there! He reminds me of Marcellas. He claims he will bring fashion sense to big brother because his fashion sense is sick sick sick. Ok I am sick just listening to him.

Keith - Keith is doing what so many do before meeting their fellow HGs he has a plan and knows exactly how everything will work out. According to Keith he plans on aligning with 3 girls who will be called "Keith's Angels" and the 3 girls will do all the dirty work plus he will have a showmance with at least one of them.

Kalia- Is planning on telling lies the whole time. She said she will lie lie lie and go in believing everyone is also telling lies. Ok how far will that work?

Cassi - Like her. Looks like a biker chick. I hope she goes far. Well I hope for now I may change my mind once I see her in action in the house.

Dominic - Seems "ok" a little boring

Adam - Seems nice. Dude needs to shave. He fears his unique personality will get him evicted first.

Venting regarding Daytime TV

Ok be warned that this will most likely be a book in itself. It has been a while since I have written and I have a feeling I am going to make up for it right now. Back in around the 1st week of April the devil also known as Brian Frons decided in his wisdom to shut down the 3rd highest rated daytime drama (One Life To Live) and one of the longest running shows on daytime with loyal followers (All My Children). Recently he said that the women of today no longer want to escape in the afternoon oh gee Mr Know It All what do women want? Oh what they want is a Mario Batelli cooking show and Life Style Living show (currently going thru name changes because the one they have SUCKS) focusing on excercise. Hum...so let me get this straight todays women who may or may not be home during the daytime hours want to eat fatty foods and then excercise their brains away because watching a drama on tv is just not what they are into right now? Hum...I suppose the loyal followers for these shows (who BTW has been on for 40+ years) just did not know that is what they wanted. I always thought if I wanted to see a cooking show I would go to oh let me think Food Network? OMG no really there is a Food Network? Get out of town who knew! So yes I am a wee bit upset my shows are leaving. Right now as a daytime soap viewer it is important to keep watching the shows to show that we do support them and I hope Mr Brian Frons has diaherra for as long as One Life To Live and All My Children were on air. Yes I said it so there.

Now this leads to question what is to happen to the daytime emmy awards. Afterall this will leave 4 daytime dramas on the air? If there is one thing I have noticed with awards shows is that when a show is ending their run during awards time they will get nominated and win a ton of awards. It is almost like a pat on the back well done. SO now Daytime Emmy Awards announced their nominations...and come on...what are you all thinking? Ok I think I know what you are thinking, I want to say that they know it is too late for the canned shows so they want to try to focus on the shows that have not been canned -----YET. So with that being said this is just my opinion on what they missed the mark on:

On Outstanding Drama while it was nice to see All My Children and General Hospital nominated One Life to Live had some awesome ground breaking stories that really should of had a nomination.

They also missed the mark on outstanding supporting actors. I am sorry some of the work that the guys on One Life to Live have been doing has been awesome.

I could go on but I decided to spare you all. Needless to say I am very disappointed that schmucho decided to put on reality based shows because they are cheaper to make. I have suggestions for this, I think he missed the mark by cancelling the shows. Here is a thought Mr Frons we know that a majority of viewers watch these shows on DVR and fast forward thru the commercials ( I know I do). So why not incorporate some brand messenging into the show for example while Erica and Jack are in the restaurant deciding if they will marry for the 8th time show Erica (aka Susan Lucci daytime icon) drinking some Lipton Iced Tea? OMG what a freaking concept! Or when Natalie goes to change her son's diaper hum what can we do there - Huggies or Pampers anyone? Do not tell me those companies will not go for that of course they will! Oh no that would be too easy lets instead cancel scripted shows that have been on for 40+ years with loyal followers. Yeah that makes good business sense because everyone knows reality TV Shows will never be cancelled. Can you think of the last reality unscripted show that has been on for 40+ years?

Keeping up

Here we are another day in Paradise. I hear it will be in the 80s again as the rest of the country is enjoying spring. In the meantime my new Avon business is moving nicely along. I am enjoying sampling products. I am happy I did not have invest thousands or hundreds of dollars and I am getting the thrill of testing products. Some yes I know are good I have had them in the past but others are new to me and I am liking this. In the mean time while all this testing is going on the new season of DWTS started and yes I am once again watching it. No need to go over each and every pair lets just say I am once again disappointed in the judges. I am ok with giving critical harsh judgements but provide some constructive feedback for example do not say "Oh that was a train wreck it was horrible you are in trouble." How about some feedback like "Hey look your feet were pointing in the wrong direction and you need to concentrate on your posture." You know something. Oh I am not saying they never say that but it appears they say that to certain celebrities while others get the you suck dude response. So to me it tells me that they know who they want to win or at least advance. I just found the judges, especially Len Goodmen, down right rude and nasty and I think they do it on purpose. I think they like it when people in the audience boo at them. So does that make a good judge? Yeah I agree NO. But will I keep watching..yeah I will. I don't watch the whole 2 second show just because I do not particular care for the fillers (like last night was Chris Brown) I just want to know who is going...oh BTW the first star (if you can call him a star personally I never heard of him) to be kicked off was Mike Catherwood. He is suppose to be some radio DJ. Yeah I was like huh who? The first time I even heard of this guy was a month ago when he entered some contest to guest host on the Regis and Kelly and he won. That was it and now he is considered a Star? Go figure. So who will advance? Stay Tune

Twins be gone Boy stay

So as I sit here and write and think about the last week or so and my new expected arrival I started thinking oh wait I predicted twin girls - this is not good not good at all. Why you ask well because financially it will just kill me. Think about it I spoil my little Princess already I will have to spoil the other two as well and then of course while doing that cannot allow the first Princess to feel neglected. Oh the pressure! Perhaps then it is best to make it a boy and yeah lets just stick to one. I have not told my sister in law this yet I kind of like the look of terror on her face when I mention twin girls. Although she did already tell me my brother said the same thing. Lord help us all if another Princess comes into the fam.

So now here I am putting together ways of making money - I am going to need extra cash with the new arrival and I went into an old favorite - Avon. Years ago I use to purchase their stuff and quite frankly I liked it. To this day I swear Skin So Soft does repel mosquitos while keeping your skin soft and smelling nice. I decided to investigate, and was hoping there was not a large start up cost because well that would count me out. Lucky for me the cost was minimal and no inventory to keep unless I want to. So a sign up here and there on the web and now I am an Official Avon Rep. I will be getting a website soon. I would show it to you now but the not so quality oriented leader of mine decided that even though I spelled my name Dolores that the real spelling was Delores. I mean seriously I am sure she thought I made a mistake. When I brought it up to her attention that the name was misspelled I got the line "Oh I am sorry they misspelled it" Ah yeah ok never mind that before the Avon sign up you replied to a couple of my emails with that incorrect spelling. I decided that any further contact with will be minimal I will simple go above her head or directly to Avon.

If I sound petty well maybe I am but it just makes me mad that I am here all ready to promote and even in the emails I sent her I put in all CAPS - DOLORES like hello you still get it wrong so now I have to wait 10 days until the website is done. Which means I cannot promote the website. Yes I can still sell but not promote. Oh and one more reason not to talk to this person is I have asked her a particular question FOUR times and she has yet to answer it. So yes in my head for now I am DONE with her.

So for now I am taking some online Avon course and I am enjoying them. Learning a lot about their products and I plan on testing a few.

Tia ----- Again

Before we get to the title of this post a little Bachelor news since I watch the Bachelor. Ok ah Brad the cad ops I mean Brad made his choice. The final two were one woman named Chantal who from pretty much day one he looked like he connected really well to her. They got along so very well they laughed at the same things. He even said how he felt like he could be himself with her and not have to worry and feel he could tell her anything. He had that nice peace when they were together. Then there was girl number two Emily who at age 19 found herself a pregnant widow and now raising her 5 year old daughter as a single mom. Emily and Brad did get along too but Emily had issues. I say issues because Brad seemed to be frustrated with her more then anything. Heck there was a time when he almost did not give Emily the rose because she kept having doubts and needed constant reassurance. Apparently when Emily signed up for "The Bachelor" it must of not dawned on her that he would be dating other women.. The choice would seem simple doesn't it? Well our ever so clever bachelor picked Emily! Yee pee..

They finally were able to make their first public appearance as a couple because they had to wait 6 weeks until the show ended and well Emily has issues with all those women he was kissing. Really Emily? The show is called the bachelor ..ah what did you think he was going to do just hold hands and sing Kumbayah My Lord? Well their interview together was well ..cold. You could sense the tension her insecurities and constant need for reassurance was like wow way out there. Now as a mom I get it because its not just about you its about your child but come on girl look at the show you signed up for. We learned that in those 6 weeks they did actually break up once but now were back together and I now read that oh my they have broken up - again. Yeah Brad you made a great choice there way to go buddy!

Now on to the great news and things that make you go hummm.. this is happening for a reason. I have my favorite sister in law Nerbey (yes she is my only sister in law). Well Nerbey and my baby bro Albert have 3 kids together. Love my kiddies. Nerbey decided in Dec to get her tubes tied so she can well relax after all the youngest is 7 years old. Well this past week she informs me that I am most likely going to be an aunt again because she has taken 4 pregnancy tests and all have come back positive. I am like wait a minute what happened well apparently there is a 1% chance and of course Fertile Myrtle aka Nerbey is in that one percent chance. So Nerbey went to her doctor who did a blood test and sure enough yesterday she told me yes its official she is pregos. So there you have it I am going to be an aunt aka Tia again!

I suspect a girl...or twins...

The Oscars

Well folks the Oscars were on last night and all the stars were out and about. All wore their designer dresses and super fancy hair styles and make up. But did they all look good? In my opinion some looked fabulous while others made me say "Really, with all the money you have and that is the best they can come up with?"

Nicole Kidman is one that was trashed for her outfit. I personally liked it. Was it her best? No - but I have seen worse. Speaking of worse - Helena Bonham Carter who was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress sucked sucked sucked. Did I say sucked? Well ok sorry she look horrible! This chick got a black bustier that was designed by the Alice in Wonderland designer. Ok Alice in Wonderland and you get that guy to create the outfit that well looked like it should of stayed in Alice in Wonderland not at the Academy Awards. I am all for wanting to be different and creative but how about a little style and looking good at the same time?

The shows that won were good - or so I am told I have not had the chance to see them but I think I might now that a gazillion people say its good. You know I so always go for what the crowd likes.

Boston Rob Rocks

Oh boy I am loving me some Survivor! Last nights show was just totally cool. Boston Rob is in my opinion one of the best players. The man has this personality that is addictive. He is also a very clever man. Ok if you have never seen this man it will take a while because I think he kind of grew on people. In the beginning Boston Rob first came on Survivor and was such a strategic player that well most people did not place him as a nice guy. But, the man was playing the game. Then he went to All Stars and there he met another player named Amber. Well Rob and Amber hooked up and played so well they went to the final two with Amber winning. They became a really popular couple to the point that CBS even filmed their wedding. They became a really great couple and Rob never stopped being the strategic player. So Rob is now playing Survivor again along with one of the ugliest and nastiest villains named Russell - although I personally like Rob's nickname to him - Hobbit.

Well last night's show was Boston Rob in continued action form. He knows how to manipulate pretty much any situation. Rob usually has a plan and he right now as a team of 6 who are pretty much hanging on his every word. One especially named Matt- oh Matt pretty much worships Rob. The back interviews show Matt saying how happy he is to have Rob on his side etc.. So can you imagine Matt's surprise when at Tribal Counsel Matt learned that he was kicked off the island. Yeah Boston Rob orchestrated it all. Ok Rob had very good reason for doing this to Matt. Actually Matt was not originally on Rob's radar after all Matt was part of his original 6 pack but Matt made this mistake of after losing a challenge walking over to the other team and congratulating them. Ok sounds like good sportsmanship? Ok NOT ON SURVIVOR! That kind of stuff can get you to the finals with jury votes plus he was just starting to get an possible hook up and well Rob knows that kind of player must go.
Oh but that is not the end of Boston Rob's touch, he managed to get one of the players who was holding an immunity idol to let go of her idol, he also got Phillip who is one fruit loop away from losing it all. This guy is a real nut job - keeps telling people how he use to be a Federal Agent. Oh yeah he has mentioned this several times over and over and it is now a running joke. Well this guy just has a big mouth and he has a bad habit of revealing secrets. Well Rob managed to get this guy to sit down, keep his mouth shut and then with just a point of the finger tell this guy who to vote for. Oh yeah literally right before voting Phillip looked at Rob and Rob gave the signal to who and this guy did as he was told.

It was pretty darn good. Now I would love for Rob to win but chances are he will not and that will be the day I most likely stop watching so closely the show because as long as Rob is on I am watching!

Ah Tuesday

Happy day after President's day. Not sure how happy it is since I am back at work. Oh I like working and earning a living it is just sometimes it is nice to just be able to chill and relax and no worry about little things like paying bills.

February brings on some shows and sweeps and those can be exciting. The Bachelor last night was pretty much predictable with the exception that this was home town dates episode and one of the girls took him to the family business - funeral home. Ok nothing against funeral homes and cemeteries it is just creepy. What makes it more creepy is when the girl had the guy lay down on the em bombing table and she preceded to tell him the steps involved. OK this is really creepy chicky and then the family decided to purchase a commerical that would air during the hometown date. I can only hope that she looked back at this episode and said "Yeah I would dump me too. No need to wonder why he dumped me."

Note to future daters if you are in the family business of laying loved ones to rest do NOT take a date and show them what happens and show them the needles and items involved and then smile as you hold one of these instruments. I'm just sayin.

Get ready world here we go on with what is left in February sweeps

Survivor is back!

Well I am not going to say Happy New Year because we are in February and technically it is not very with the program to say that now. So let me just say hi and so sorry. I have had the time to write just was not inspired but last night I was sparked up and the juices were flowing and it was purely exciting. You may ask well what made you this excited? Oh glad you ask - Survivor Redemption Island!

Ok I watched Survivor when it first started and I would say like the first 3 seasons then I got bored and went on to other things. Occassionally I would see portions here and there and might see the finale to see what I missed all season. Then about 2 years ago I started watching again and there was such a mean spirited nasty character named Russell and oh boy he was a snake. He admited he was a snake but I didn't hate I just found him hilarious.

He would have the one on one interviews and would just tell it like it is. Then you saw players like falling for this guy and at one point in the game they were giving him immunity idols. But he was smart he looked for these idols before anyone even thought of looking for them and get this he found them! Yeah pretty good player Russell was a bit cocky ok more then a bit cocky but he played the game.

Then in one of my watching seasons there was this young guy named Boston Rob, well Rob was a character. He was exceptionally good at puzzels and strategizing. He had this charm and this personality that just drew you to him. Oh he was a villian oh yes he was sneaky and always making plans to get rid of people. He did not care if he had to smile to you as he did it. But Rob had this trippin charm. Well long story short Rob has always been one of my all time players and he met his current wife playing survivor. Amber played the game and oh yes she won as a matter of fact who came in second - Rob. Then they went on the Amazing Race together and they came in 3rd I believe. Ok so Rob rocks. Well last season they brought him back to play like an all star survivor. I loved it. Russell was on there too and the two of them crashed heads. Russell had the advantage though because all star was a back to back oh wait they called it hereos vs villians. Ok Russell pretty much went straight to this so the survivors had no idea who he was just that he was placed on camp villian.

So now we are in present day Survivor and all new players with the exception that Russell and Rob have been brought back to play the game. Each are on opposite teams and last night was show one. LOVE IT. Rob's team went to tribal counsel and Rob in typical Rob form totally ran the whole thing. He made someone show and hand him the idol right there! Oh it was awesome.

So needless to say I am looking forward to this season as long as BR stay in the game.

Brisky Miami

Oh where to begin. First of all it is a very brisky cold Miami morning and when I say cold I mean cold I am talking 40 degrees this early morning. OH God I so love it! The coldness to me just brings life to a fresh new start and you wake up and go yes hello how have you been? Ok not that over the top but it is a nice thought. I really just like to lay in bed all covered up feeling the coldness it just feels good. Ok now to recap a little of my life in the last few days and weeks. Not too much to really report just going about life as normal.

Thanksgiving came and the time spent with family was rather enjoyable. I personally am glad it is over. This whole cooking is for the birds - sorry turkey. But daddy dearest came and that is always fun. I finally did something I say every year I will do but rarely do and that is begin Christmas shopping early. I not only did so but finished well by the time Dec 1st came around. Yeah I am pretty impressed by that too. I found some really awesome deals online and many included free shipping. Now really can it get any better?

Work has been work I am so happy I have it when so many are without it but it is work. Not much to report just give thanks.

The plot for the book that has yet to be written is starting to some what form. I think I now have 2 of my main characters and they will be women. Not just women but some kick A type women. I am not sure if I will give them super powers but they individually will have strength and then when put together will be a force to be wrecken with. Sounds bad A right? Well lets see how it goes.

I am going to take this chance now to say Namaste and thanks to everyone. Chances are I will not write for a while. I can pretend and say yes I will try but it's the holidays and I am only working one more day and well come on really who I am kidding. I have stopped to realize I have some really cool nice friends and great family and for that I give thanks.

The man and I recently (this weekend) celebrated our 18th Wedding anniversary and we decided we wanted to do something "different". Now we could go to a nice restaurant and enjoy a bottle or two of wine and drinks and have a really nice time and then be done with it but come on lets do something with some music fun and excitement! So the search was on and suggestions were encourage and along came LIPS . This is something different so I ran it across the man and he was all for it! So we decided to add to the night by staying at a nearby hotel right on the water. We resevered a balcony room facing the ocean and let me tell you folks it was truly remarkable. The Pelican Resort was to die for. It was a Key West style resort and everyone was friendly, the place was clean, the breakfast was good, the room was tidy and nice. Yes I would return to this place.

Now lets get to LIPS oh yeah baby rock and roll is all I have to say! The pictures don't do it justice because I have so many more but you know so many pictures so little Bytes what can I say. This place is a caberet style show you get to enjoy and the dinner prior to the show is excellent. The encourage fun loud out of this world get out of your seat behavior! Come on really this is right up my alley! Our server learned it was our wedding anniversary and called us on state and we were given complimentary shots and a picture. Thats us with our server.

Meals vary in prices. They do have a fixed price menu which includes salad, entree and dessert or you can just get stuff off the regular menu. They obviously make their money off the drinks which we also bought a few.

So over all I would recommend it. You need to be open minded and just sit back and enjoy so I will post some pictures.

I decided to try a new soul exercise that sounded interested. The experiment was called the 24 hour word challenge. For 24 hours say nothing negative. If I found myself wanting to say something negative I would stop myself and either look at the positive or just keep the thoughts to myself. I found the first day was an actual good day so it was rather easy. I did not find myself needing to stop and hold back or change my way of thinking on anything even when moments would appear I was alright about it. So I decided to try it for a second day -let's just say it was a little more challenging. But that is alright because my lesson is that you cannot be good everyday but if you are aware of the negative tendencies then you can choose to turn that around and that is my choice.

So the new challenge right now is to laugh every day, this way when moments come (and they will) that require a little lift the habit will already be in there. Yes laughing will be a challenge, but hey I adventurous so I will give it a shot.

First thing I will do is look out my work window and picture a beautiful ocean view and sandy white sand and a man servant named Niles saying "Madam your tea is ready." Ah yeah that is where I am at smiling and laughing...

Bitter Sweet Monday

Well here I am back at work on a Monday imagine that? Weekend was actually pretty darn alright but it is a bitter-sweet morning. More on that in a little bit. Sometimes you have to be away from things or people to really appreciate the gift that they bring and Friday we went out with some friends we had not hung out with in wild; mainly because life gets in the way sometimes and we find outselves re-directing ourselves. But, then we stop and we look around and say hey wait a minute YOU we use to do this all the time then we stopped but man this is fun! Yeah we had fun. The company was really nice and it makes me appreciate that there are those special people out there who we are glad are still in our lives. This leads me to Saturday night and my family. Argg really do I need to keep them around? Yeah I do but argg they can be frustrating at times. But then I get over the frustration and sit and enjoy. All I have to say is thank you Angels for keeping me sane. Sunday was a nice quiet day with the man and Sarge. Speaking of Sarge he leaves today, actually this morning and yes I am with mixed feelings (bitter-sweet) because he really is a cute doggie and such a "Good Boy!" Sorry had to get that out. It will be nice to not have to worry about letting him out or worrying if he will be in the house too long. But he is a cutie and one thing is for sure in a few short weeks he will be back!

Hopefully this week will be fine.

So in closing here is my closing statement...

Make a cup of strong, preferably real, coffee. Add a measure of Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur. Stir. Top with whipped cream. Then sprinkle grated chocolate over the top. Now relax with a sip. Yum! No wonder it's called the 'Fallen Angel'!

Ahh Happiness

Ah the week is more then half over and I have a feeling it will fly right by. Tonight is the GATE Program graduation and I enjoy going to that. It is something I find that is good for the soul and I like to feed my soul whenever possible.

I was reading recently something someone wrote about learning how to be happy and I thought wow that is strange because if you have to teach yourself to be happy then that means that at some point in time you must of made the choice to not be happy? And why would someone choose to not be happy? Now this is not to say that every single moment of the day must be fun and happy and 24/7 constant smile but why choose to be unhappy? I like some of the tips that were provided in finding ways to be happy and I thought ok let me share this because actually some of them are stuff that I believe and agree with.

Tip #1

Enjoy your own company. Embrace everything about you! Without a doubt, it’s the most important step towards being a happy person.

Tip #2

Smile, Giggle, Snicker, or Chuckle! Smiling releases serotonin in the brain which gives you an instant mood lift.

Tip #3

Sing out loud! Ok but like when you do this please do it in the privacy of your own home or space with the shades down and make sure there are no other human souls around to hear you. Just let it loose.

Tip #4

Indulge in dark chocolate. (This may be my favorite tip of all!) Savor a small piece and watch your mood improve.

Tip #5

Believe that something wonderful will happen for you today. The universe is waiting to shower happy blessings on you.

Last but not least

Tip #6

Meditate, Pray, and Chant. Research shows that people who are more spiritual are happier then those who are not.

So there you have it some simple easy ways to be more happy. If you run across someone who you feel is generally unhappy all the time I would say just wish them well and wish for them to find happiness. Maybe send some happiness down their way. Hopefully their spirit will be receptive towards it.

Remembrance

Remembrance day of the dead is vastly approaching and some also call it Halloween which is also fun but last year I decided to take this day to remember and thank all those loved ones that have passed on. I wanted to thank their spirits for being in my life when they were alive. I often think of mom, dad, brother, grandparents, friends who have passed on and sometimes even though they are not with me in the physical form I feel a little better in knowing that maybe from time to time they glance down from the heavens and smile. I especially find myself thinking of their smiles when stressful times approach and that provides comfort so I suppose it works for me.

I am also looking forward for this weekend because we are going to not just one but two Halloween parties! The first one is Friday night and it is a fundraiser event for The Gold-Diggers and I love me some Gold Diggers! It is for a good cause and it even made the Society News?? Gosh one would think I hang out with the rich and elite ha ha ha.

Then on Saturday night my friend Tina is throwing a Halloween bash. Well originally her friend had asked her if she could use her place to throw a Halloween party and well since it is Tina's place she gets to invite people too. Last time Tina came to my brothers house for one of his weekly "Get together parties" it was pretty wild (yeah and like when is it not?) . Well she totally loved it that is really up her alley mainly because her brother throws equally wild parties so this Saturday will be the gathering of her brother and his entourage and my brother and his entourage, all I can say is it will be one wild night in Cutler Bay. I cannot wait! Oh yeah there is an Elktone gig that night too. No sorry I will sadly miss that gig but hopes are that the Tones will finish early enough and one of the Tones can come to the party.

Friday I can smell you

Ah I like Thursdays yes I do because it is that much closer to Friday which I really like too. This week has been rather good. I have had a pretty steady busy week at work but not overly horrible. I went to a Moose ceremonial event and it was nice because I actually like the person they were honoring and everyone seemed to be on their best behavior - even when the head woman said "Thank you all for coming we don't have a good lodge so it is really good to see you all." Yeah she said that - and then she wonders why she is always getting into disagreements with people and they want nothing to do with her. Yeah I don't know why either. But I have learned about giving and giving and giving and then if you stop to breathe the masses get mad. So, when I go to meetings I sit there I charm them with taking minutes because apparently no one types them up (not sure why) and they end up on sheets of paper handwritten in scribble. So when I go I actually type up the minutes and email them - wow what a concept. Occassionally I may volunteer to drop off some bags of salad or other quickie Publix pick me up and they seem happy with that. I know they would like more out of me but sorry girls my days of putting extra efforts into organizations are long over and I will not make that mistake again.

Nick recently turned 23 and I am like wow I have a 23 year old son? How did that happen. Stop it I know HOW but where did the time go?

The holidays are quickly approaching and I am already on the internet hunt doing some shopping I have some ideas but no final decisions. I am also going to start looking at Boss's Christmas gifts because well that is the kind of person I am.

Breathe

Greetings from the past. I know time is a trip I have spoken of it often and it has been a trip. I found myself getting wrapped up in all sorts of stuff and almost felt a new direction of the spirit moving but then I was reminded to stop and re-center and focus. I thought I would share simple steps in focusing and centering. The hopes is that when I lose my way I can read my own words and go DUH girlie wake up.

We all need time out to center ourselves and take a deep breath or two or three. When you are feeling stressed, pressured or stuck in a rut it is important to take time out and give yourself permission to enjoy life and do a simple easy meditation. This is what I like to call Meditation for Dummies (OMG you think I should write a book titled that?). I wonder if there is a book with that title? ok wait re-focus back to basic steps to meditate. Some may not understand the benefits of meditation but I have found that many times it brings clarity and focus and also can bring insight - at the very least it will not hurt you.

First find a place that is comfortable and sit in a position you find comfortable.

Allow your eyes to close slowly, relax the muscles in your face and begin to focus on your breath.

Now breathe. Yes breathe. Take in the source of your life. Exhale. Exhale the carbon dioxide oh yeah and all negative energies too, and anything that upsets you and may take your breath away. If there is something that just bothers you and takes your breath away just let it go at this point.

Now continue on this same trail...Breathe again. Yes just sit there and just breathe. Take in the oxygen, nutrients, and healing love. Now Exhale. Exahle that part in you that is holding your breath that holds you back and makes you feel stuck or cornered. If there is a part that doesn't want you to embrace life or anything just exhale it. See it leaving. Maybe it's an event see it going away. Exhale it all away.

As you do this just relax into your breath and know that air is flowing free and smooth in you. Just sit there and do this in total silence and quiet.

Mahatma Gandhi once said "In attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness."

So meditate in silence. Don't be surprised if you find the mind wandering around this is normal let it wander and then bring it back in and continue to breathe and release.

Happy Monday everyone! Yes I said happy Monday every so often a miracle happens. But I had a really nice weekend and I think I want that feeling to spill over into the new week. No more thinking that OMG Sept is pretty much over which means the hectic times of Holiday shopping is around the corner. Actually in my head it is already here I am already starting to shop (internet-style). I plan on doing most if not all online again. Why bother pushing, shoving, screaming and thats just waiting for the store to open.

Friday we had just an a fantastic night out with 2 friends. I had not seen my Chonga in what seemed like years so it was really nice to get together with Chonga and Elktone Number one. We went over to the Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove for a wine tasting hosted by Barry Albert. Every week Barry hosts a wine tasting at the Mayfair and highlights different wines. Now the night for me was not really about the wine (although it was a nice addition) it was about sitting down and enjoying time with Chonga and friends. We all enjoy a good glass or two or three or more of wines so we sat and drank and talked and laughed. Then we moved over to the Mayfair Grill and had a late night dinner. By the time the night was over it was way past our usual bedtime but we thought man that was just plain fun.

Saturday turned out to be one of those in your face you never know what happens kind of day. We ended up at my brothers place for a get together. Nothing planned it just sort of came together the last minute. I wanted to stop over at my other friends house who was having a get together that night and if all would of gone as planned in my head I would of been at Alberts for a little while then popped over to Tina's. Of course that is in a perfect world because what happened was I went to Alberts and stayed at Alberts.

Then Sunday we went to movies to see Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Afterwards we met up with Tina and her BF Matt for dinner at Black Point Marina and then went on home to watch the disappointing Dolphin game and Premier of Desperate Housewives.

And here I am at Monday. You know time just flies when you are recovering from wild nights of adventure and mayhem.

Remembrance

I sit here and I wonder how quickly the days go by and I looked at the calendar today and realized that September is pretty much almost over and God help me this means the hectic season of gift giving, family gatherings, fruitful spending, joyful eating is approaching - and that's just Halloween ha!

But as quickly as time is passing I have to stop sometimes and realize that I need acknowledge and be happy for things and people around me because I would hate for that to go unnoticed. I am upgrading my meditations and recently I listened to Master Chunyi Lin and it is really teaching me to look more inside and view things from a different angle. I am learning that sometimes when I see negative behavior I need to try and change my point of view on it and if it is still negative well I wish them well but refuse to allow it to get into me. I am looking forward to collecting more of these lectures and listening to it because Master Lin has a technique that I have always used and that is mind control if your mind believes it then it is true. For example if your mind believes you are getting sick then you will get sick, if your mind believes that harm is coming your way then harm will come your way. Now that is not to say that you feel sick and if you think I am well you will instantly be well no of course not Master Lin saids that if you are sick welcome it by saying ok thank you for coming (yeah I know I had to think twice on that one too but follow along) welcome it, say thank you for coming (so you start from gratitude), please stay for a day and with love move along. Everything has a purpose.

He has other stuff he teaches where mainly he believes that we are all healers not one person or some people but we are all healers. It is pretty cool and I just only heard one lecture so I am going to try to grab some other lectures and some meditations CDs and listen to some more. So what quote should I end today with?

Summer is almost over

Summer is starting to end, well I say that in jest because in Miami it is fairly an all year event, but to mean this means regular TV is coming back to life. My shows are returning and I will once again be a prisoner to DVR. Ah those little things make me smile!

At work it has been an up and down event. Thankfully for me it has been an up, but for others in the company I work for not so fortunate. Another round of layoffs and of course they seem to hit the weak, long time workers and of course loyal ones. It is turning to be more and more a large corporate environment with just no heart and soul. That tends to sadden me. I like my job I really do and I recognize how fortunate that is but it pains me when bad things happen to good people. With that said I have sent good fortune and well wishes to those hurt by these actions.

Now since summer is coming to an end here is my closing statement...

Sometimes it is good to just sit back, take a deep breath and release it all into the universe. I get in moments at work and regular life where I feel everything is coming down on me and this morning I sat in my morning silence and it was a feeling to just stop and release. And, so I did. The silence was good I was able to connect and re-connect and allow the positive energy to come into me and wish love and light into the world and myself. The hustle and bustle of hurry up reports and hurry up figures at work can sometimes be a bit over the top but I somehow manage to do it. I am happy for that and very thankful and I suppose that was part of my lesson this morning was to just release and say thank you.

In other news, I am dying for regular TV season to come back. White Collar is back and I am happy but Burn Notice is now on its break. Soon Big Brother will end and that will mark the start of regular TV such as (but not limited to) Desperate Houswives, NCIS (both of them), The Mentalist, Brothers and Sisters and oh yes the one that will premier but I already feel I will love Hawaii Five-O (book-em Dano!).

Reflections from an early morning meditation

Ever feel like you are living on automatic pilot? Sometimes I do and then I sit in my morning meditations and it hits me that I am on auto-pilot. For the longest that was what I was doing; I got up and went to work, during the day would do some “Elk stuff”, then I planned some more Elk stuff, went home ate dinner with my husband and left to do some more Elk stuff. It was a routine. I planned my vacations around Elk stuff. I then learned that many of us spend time fulfilling obligations and doing things we don’t truly want to be doing. We get stuck in old conditioning about what and who we are supposed to be. We react to old reflexes instead of truly engaging in life. Not that doing Elk stuff was bad because it really was not and I did not hate it but it became a part of my life and it was consuming my life and lifestyle.

Every once in a while we need to stop and reflect on what really matters to us and make a conscious choice to reorder our priorities. And, if Elk stuff would have been my priority I promise you I would of stayed in it and embraced it more.

So then this leaves one to think how or what do I do and what kind of priorities am I looking to put in place. So I found these helpful tips and I thought I would share them.

It is time to Grow Up. Growing Up means that we truly take responsibility for our life and how it's turning out, and stop expecting others to make our decisions for us. For me this meant stop letting others tell me oh you need to get to this position, you need to get to that position, but instead step back and ask is this what I really want.

We spend so much time giving away our power. Decide what is true for you and where you want to be in life, really, and find the courage to live that truth. Take a small step in that direction daily. For me this was obvious and that was to disengage from being a player in Elk-dom. Was it hard to do? Yes in many ways it certainly was, but once I changed my focus I found that I made the right decision. Now my next challenge in this changing focus is to get that book started and this is where this writing comes from. I need to stay on topics and I hope this practice will help me in the end.

Reflect on where you are stuck in life and what old fear is keeping you there. Make choices that move you toward a more fluid pathway to living your dreams. I am still working on this one, but my meditations do help.

Identify what task or situation you need to address in life. That which you tend to ignore diminishes you and your strength. Create a plan for sorting through and dealing with life's tricky situations. Yeah, this one is another one in progress and it is actually getting there.

Time and circumstance sometimes seem to cause temporary memory loss. Reflect on times when you felt connected to all that is. What fired your imagination in the past, and aroused your curiosity and passion? Those energies are still there, waiting for release and affirmation. Seek to bring them back into being. This is also one in progress. I had to get back to what originally filled my heart and that was the focus on angels, peace, prayer, and meditation. So this is where I am left at right now in my transition mode. How will this all end –

Just read any number of my previous postings on being late and busy and it is a rinse repeat. Even my articles for this week on the Examiner have been late! I can blame it on I had a long streak of days off (Starting last Friday and returning to work this Wednesday), and when I returned to work oh boy oh boy - let's just say it was one of those days. But slowly it will get back to a normal routine, however, I cannot promise I will write on a regular routine but I will try. So today I was doing some mindless scanning and I ran across a really pretty quote about beauty and women and so in close I thought I would share it so please enjoy

As the days go by so does the time and I sit back and go man I cannot believe we are almost in August? Hello what have I been doing for the last 7 or 8 months?

Well my articles in the Examiner have been fun. My lastest obsession is Big Brother. Ok yes that is mainly because it is our summertime show that we oh so love. There has to be something beautiful or weird about wanting to peek into a house of strangers and see how they inner act with each other. So far we have seen 1 out in your face showmance and one "hidden" showmance. But the hidden one is not so good they think no one knows but pretty much everyone does.

But you see I am not the only one liking Big Brother because it appears that my hits per day went from a tiny weenie 50-80 hits to like over 1,000 in one day. Yeah go figure in one day I actually got over 1,000 views! Like I even know 1,000 people! This writing about trash tv is just freaking fun.

In other news hold on to your beanies my friends I went to an Elks event Saturday. Yes I know the chair jas collapsed and the sky has fallen but both the man and I went to an Elks event. It appears that there may be an Elks lodge getting ready to open in our little neck of the woods. Oh yeah baby. How do I feel about the Elks since I left? I have always said I know the organization as a whole do good things it was the people and their politics that were bad. I personally disliked liars, I am just funny that way.

So we went to a meeting and met a bunch of people who wish to join and become part of the group and I thought they were all awesome! I felt at home. I love people who are real, honest and straightforward. I love how they take no crap from anyone. They wish to do good and you know what I want to go and see how far they are willing to go. Am I going to go all nutso and overly involved? Oh heck NO, I learned that lesson. You do too much and it's never appreciated and if you decide you want to step back (if only for a little while) they try to cast stones at you. Sometimes people forget it's volunteerism.

So we shall see how it goes.

The Hair

Ah yes the blog I remember you yes I do. I know Mr Blog you thought I had totally forgotten about you but I have not I have been cheating on you. Yes that is correct I have been writing for another establishment and get this Mr. Blog I have gotten paid for it! YIKES. But I do keep you in mind.

You see my friends this past weekend I took the matter of my hair and went for it. Thankfully my hairdresser gave me the best break EVER and we went for the Keratin treatment. This picture here is the before shot. I will spare everyone the front end view, just not a pretty sight.

This is the after! So for 3 days no getting hair wet, pulled, tugged on, tortured by products or hair guns, basically let the hair embrace the Keratin. SO I am.

I shall let you know how it goes. Now on to the positive closing. A friend of mine sent me this and I thought it was so cute and kind that I would repost it here.

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend; Someone who changes your life just by being part of it... All I can say is thank you and ask and you will receive. Yes I know that the only way our wonderful angels and guides will help is if we ask for otherwise they will just stand by and protect us. So part of my daily meditation involved giving thanks and appreciating what I have and yes I do tend to ask for help and guidance. That's right I said I asked for. SO I asked and I said to Arch Angel Raphael if he would like give me a sign, I did say please make it to where I can clearly see it because sometimes I am a little slow on these sign things. Well ask and Yee shall receive today I received an email from Hay House thanking me for participating in a quiz and that I have been randomly selected to receive an autographed copy of The Healing Miracles of Archangel Raphael& 1 Deck of Archangel Raphael Healing Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue. This is so freaking cool because when I went to my convention "I Can Do It" in Toronto I saw Doreen Virtue and just got so intrigued that I started listening to some of her radio podcasts. So needless to say getting this is awesome. In the last podcast I had been thinking I wanted to look into ordering the cards because I think it would be a nice tool to have and look at how beautiful the angels say let us do that for you.

I am just so thrilled and thought I would share it with all of you. Ahhh yes I can smile now.

Can you believe it is Friday already? I know time just flies when you are having fun and oh yeah I am having tons of it.

I guess part of the reason being there was no work Monday so this made it a nice short work week. Also, last night was the start of my summer show called Big Brother.

I have to say I like this new group and yes this is rare because generally in the beginning I tend to dislike a lot of them. I don't know maybe it is this new view on looking at things in a more positive manner. One can only hope. So in looking at things in a more positive manner I decided to post a little something something on my angels and those out there. It is all positive and all good and we take what we want from them and put the rest aside.

Just like we sit and ponder about how things in our lives could improve sometimes we need a little divine help and this is where God's messengers come in handy angels. So the next time you find yourself in need of a little help think of one of these angels and just ask. All you have to do is ask if you don't ask they can't help. Yeah that is because we all have free will.

Angel of Courage - A more prosperous future can be achieved by releasing regrets and disappointments. Begin new endeavors with a clear mind. Envision Hannah, Angel of Courage, with her curly auburn locks blowing in the wind. She leads you down a twisting and narrow wooden dock with a sailboat at the end. The aroma of salty sea air is everywhere. Focus on some disappointments you felt while growing up. Picture a big stack of boxes close to your feet. Each one of the boxes is the perfect size to fit the memories of regrets and disappointments. Put a memory in each box, placing the boxes in the sailboat. Healing Prayer

Good day all and welcome to another fun filled day of heat in Miami where as the weatherman said this morning "Bad hair days from today till at least October." Remind me why I like this guy?

So my energies are now being focused on the Gulf and the water and those poor helpless animals out there. So one of my bestest Spiritual shops Five Sisters is posting a beautiful prayer/meditation that we hope will go around the world. Basically the more people that read and say it the better it is. The cost to you is nothing but the benefits to the earth and the creatures on it is outrageous.

Message Head Dr. Masaru Emoto's Healing Prayer for the GulfFocusing our energies in response to the Gulf tragedy and for healing the waters and its inhabitants -Dr. Masaru Emoto who many of you will recognize as the scientist from Japan who has done all the research and publications about the characteristics of water.

Meditating technique made simple

Ok so I said I would give you a real easy exercise or technique to do in order to get you on the road to meditating. Once you see how easy I am certain that you will achieve that happy quiet time where you can truly listen to your soul.

I want you to close your eyes and just simply focus on your breath. Yes I said your breath. Take your time. With each breath in, it will bring more and more relaxation, and with each exhalation, I want you to let go of all stresses and tension. Try this for five minutes, focusing on the regular rhythm of your breathing. You’ll become increasingly relaxed with each breath. Just let it happen. Let it all go and relax. If your mind starts to wander that is fine do not worry, just focus back on your breath. If thoughts come in, acknowledge them and acknowledge them as they leave again. You know how to do that don’t you just very quietly, calmly say “not now thank you later.” Notice how it feels to be completely relaxed. Continue to focus on your breath, while you let the mind chatter slow down and fade away. If you are used to the hustle and bustle and the constant noise this may take a little while but just keep at it. It is normal to have thoughts pop in, let them come and invite them to go.

Now, in your mind’s eye, which is located between your eyebrows (known as “The Third Eye”), I want you to imagine a symbol of your choosing. It can be a flower, a religious figure or icon, a single word, or whatever is pleasing to you. Make it your own special symbol, one that you use every time you meditate. At this point, just focus without straining on your chosen symbol. Now slowly inhale using your breath, but this time bring your awareness up to your Third Eye as you focus on your symbol. It’s almost as if you’re breathing in and out through this center. Do this for another five minutes. If your mind wanders, return your focus back to the breath and your symbol. This will then bring you back. Now you can use this symbol has your focus and guide in meditating. If you find you need more time to do some of this focusing then do follow your instinct. Remember this is for you and your inner peace.

During this relaxed state, it’s a perfect time to ask your higher-self for an answer to a specific question. You may get the answer in any number of ways. You may see an image, a scene, or beautiful colors. Equally, your spirit guides may make themselves known to you. The answer may not be immediate and sometimes it may come to you a few days later. Alternatively, you may be at the right place at the right time to receive your answer immediately. Do not worry about what or how you may get messages or answers just enjoy this time to reconnect with your inner self.

When you are done and ready to return, wriggle your fingers as you bring your awareness back to your body, and start to bring yourself back so that you become aware of the room around you. Remain seated for a moment and allow your consciousness to fully absorb your meditation, so you remember how calm you felt now that you’ve achieved the process of stilling the mind. In this peaceful state, anything is possible!

It really is a beautiful thing when you can take a moment to yourself, I mean your inner self, and then come back stronger then ever.

Technology can bite

This is what I am learning in my journey and I thought I would share it with you.

Your soul is speaking to you all the time. Most of us live in this fast paced world where technology is increasingly dictating our lives and lifestyle. Phones are constantly ringing or texting and the speed of response is less and less. It almost appears like people want their response NOW. With all this going on sometimes it makes it hard to hear your soul calling out to you. Now if you have no need to listen to your soul and enjoy the constant technological sounds then that is fine and you should thank the Technological angels for being near you. But if you wish to shut it down a little and perhaps listen to what your soul and spirits might be saying then I would suggest Meditation. Ok yes I know you say gee that is easy for you not so easy for me. I think it is easier then you think. When the body is in a state of calmness, the mind will eventually become still. It’s in this state of total relaxation that clarity can be found, as well as forging a stronger connection with your soul. Meditation is one of the key tools that will help you integrate your body, mind, and soul to become centered and grounded – to become one. This will promote a state of balance. You will feel more capable of dealing with your busy schedule, and over time, meditation will alleviate some of the tensions that you may be holding inside your body. Once these tensions are eliminated, it’s often the case that associated minor ailments can disappear as well.

So give it a shot. In the mornings find a quiet silent place and dedicate 5 to 10 minutes to being alone in this quiet place. Now if you say OMG I don’t have 10 minutes to spare oh alone, then to me that is the first obstacle you need to overcome. If you do not have 10 minutes to dedicate to yourself then you have a problem. I mean seriously 10 minutes for your spirit and soul is not a lot to ask for. Try meditating and just sitting there over time you may want to increase. In another posting I will write just a real easy way to start your meditation. No need right now to go out and spend money on tapes you have all the tools you need within you.

Later this week (or tomorrow) I will post a real easy way to get started on meditating something you can do all on your own with no help from anyone and you can do it in any place. What would be nice is to now start looking for a place you will designate as your “alone” space. This can be your bedroom in the mornings, your bedroom in the evenings, the living room, den, bathroom outside balcony or garden just look for a place. If you practice meditating in this place what will happen is over time you will walk into this space and you will feel that positive energy and you will find yourself meditating with ease.

Ok today is Happy Friday. This has been one heck of a week. So in keeping with my centering and peaceful existence below you will find the saying/phrase

The master does nothing, yet he leaves nothing undone. The ordinary man is always doing things, yet many more are left to be done. The highest virtue is to act without a sense of self. The highest kindness is to give without condition. The highest justice is to see without preference.

This weekend will be a nice one, I am going to go meet up with some long time friends on Saturday. This is part of the "Group" some of us have not seen each other in years. We hooked up on Facebook and we actually had one get together almost a year ago and we thought we need to do this again and try to get more of the "Group" to come out. I think it will mean more get togethers more frequent then once a year. We shall see how it goes.

Tao

Ok so it has only been 10 days since I last wrote seriously is that really that bad anymore? It is not like I have not been writing just not writing here. I have like real articles that get 100s of views- ok one time I had over 3000 then dropped to 300 and now we are breaking between the 20 and 80 mark. What can I say some days are better then others. But my quest for better enlightenment is much still strong. Daily meditations are taking place and I am finding a nice sense of serenity. I have noticed that things that really use to bother me and get me all rallied up now are just a little annoying but not over whelming so for that I am grateful to my guides of wisdom.

So speaking of guides of wisdom today is my inspiring release of good nature towards all. I think today should be a day that we do a random act of kindness to someone. But here is the catch do not let them know you did just do it and release it. Do not expect anything back in return just do it. I am not sure many people can do that. I can and I will. Plus here is the bonus it does not have to be towards someone you know it can be to a stranger.

Since I am on a roll a little wisdom on Tao. What is Tao you say?

In Tao-te ching, Tao is the name given by Lao-tzu to the Great Pervader or the Mother of all Things. Tao is the creator and sustainer of everything in the Universe. It is described as follows:
There was something undefined and complete, coming into existence before Heaven and Earth... (Tao-te ching, chap. 25, Legge version)

There was something formless and perfect before the universe was born. It is serene. Empty. Solitary. Unchanging. Infinite. Eternally present. It is the Mother of the universe. For lack of a better name I call it the Tao.

So much time

So times seems to go by at it's own pace while we go at ours and many times we look and boy how quickly you have gone Mr. Time. It appears both Time and I go at a different pace but it's all good.

Toronto was great! The weather was nice at times during the day a bit hot but not like here, at night it was pretty nice. I met some really nice people and listened to some really inspirational speeches. I also participated in some nice workshops. I am a better person for going. I find myself waking up and giving thanks for protection and asking for guidance and wisdom throughout the day. I am inspired to make this writing thing more successful. The passion for it is alive and I think I am going to go and follow it. Who knew all my gossip-know-how may earn me some extra money.

The summer is here officially because it is hot as can be! Plus this also means TV is on a repeat high with the exception that Burn Notice is back! Oh finally a show to watch during the summer (until Big Brother begins) that is full excitement, fun, sex appeal, and takes place in Miami!

Times go by

Oh boy I certainly had no idea how quickly time went by since I last wrote. I certainly thought I was so on top of things- that's what I get for thinking.

The weekend was rather fabulous. We went to see http://www.gold-diggers.org/ show at Guzman and as always it was a great show. What was even better was I got to see some friends I had not seen in a while and I have missed so it was truly a great night.

Now this work week while proving to be busy for me will be short since Thursday I leave for the I Can Do It 2010 convention http://www.icandoit.net/. I am looking forward to this. In hindsight what I should of done is look at staying an extra day in Toronto so I can see some of the city before leaving. This just means I am going to have to do what I can in the time I have. The speakers I am really looking forward to listening to.

Well tonight is the finale of DWTS and well as I said from the beginning the finalist remaining are there and lets face it we know who the winner is going to be its Professional dancer Derek Hough and "I have been trained as a dancer and been dancing since I was 5 years old and this is how I make my living" Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. Yeah that is a long title to have but I have said it before and will say it again, it is not right that a show that highlights celebrities doing something out of their element is on there. The girl is a flippin dancer - hello she better be in the finals otherwise what does that say about how she earns a living? Oh yes Nicole had a moment on TV where boo hoo she cried and cried that oh it is not fair that people say this is easy for her boo hoo. Look little girl if you are going to quote "people" then quote them correctly what people are saying is that you are a trained dancer so you know what it takes and you already have that mindset. You have done some of those moves and are used to looking at dance moves and picking up how to do routines easier then the average person who lets say does NOT dance for a living. So go cry me a river and besides who cares the freaking judges love you they already have said how you are the best celebrity dancer they have ever had - so if that does not spell winner then what does?

Ok that is my rant and now in order to bring myself down from my rant and back into my peaceful existence here is the inspirational quote for the day:

Signs look for signs

Well the week is moving along as it always does. Last night's DWTS proved to be predictable. In listening to the judges you can tell who they like and who they want to move forward and I suppose text and phone in viewers agree. Do I agree? I am not sure I agree all the time but I like to make up my own mind and not have constant influences by "judges".

Something interesting happened yesterday at work. I had someone at my desk for a training and I tend to have two constant post it inspirational postings in my wall. Not large ones just placed in corners where I can view them. One I keep and the other one every so often I write a new one and replace it. Well this person was at my desk and she noticed one of my postings that read "I work at eliminating all of my judgements of others".

Well this person looked at my posting and repeated what it said so I just looked at her and smiled and said yep that is what it saids and her reaction or response to that was "Well that is impossible and judgements still hurt". Hum.. interesting. Ok it is not impossible and I said to her I try to live my life that way it is not easy and I am not 100% successful but I aim to do that. Of course she just repeated well judgements are hurtful and I thought ok I need to end this so I said yes they are and you cannot control what other people say or think just how your reactions and feelings towards it. At that point I redirected the focus back to work.

I thought afterwards how sad that you think so negative and again it validates what I always thought what you think is what you are and what you think people can feel. This particular person is not someone in the department that people generally care for. She is one that while you cannot put your finger on something specific she is not liked at all. The impression she gives is negative, nasty, tattle-tailing, backstabbing etc..well you get the drift. And I thought well of course people don't like you how can you expect people to like you when you walk around thinking the worst of people and when you read something positive you immediately want to bring it down. All I can say is how sad. I felt bad that this person walks around like that. I hope to never be that negative.

Just as an FYI my other posting rads "I now fully accept the wisdom, insight and protection of my angels".

Well welcome Tuesday and how are you doing today? I am doing rather well myself thank you for asking. Sometimes I have to start like that in order to get into the mood for the day. The weekend was rather nice. Friday had a super nice time with the usual suspects. Finding a great place to eat that fits certain criteria is becoming a challenge but one thing that is not a challenge is the fun we have when we are together and that is what I really go for.

Saturday was nice too. Time out with girls and then a night cap at my brothers. If you know my brother, well night cap is a nice word for it the dude does have energy and is well high-spirited. Better then being old and boring is what I say.

I am getting so much closer to Canada time and I am really looking forward to it. This will be my first out of the country trip all by myself. Way excited. So in order to get started let me post my mantra for the day/week or until the next time I post one:

That is an interesting thing compassion. We all say we have it or want it but how many people truly do that? The dictionary meaning of compassion is Deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it. I think we all have been to the point where we do feel for someone when they are suffering, we give our sympathy, our shoulder to cry on, our friendship but how many of us can say we WISH to relieve it? Sometimes I think society has put us in a position where we say "wow hey I am so sorry to hear that I feel for you and I will pray for you." Then, we walk away and that is pretty much the end of it until we see that person again. So what if we stopped at that point and said hey you know I am here for you and I will pray for you but tell me is there something I can do right now to help you. Whether it be take a child to school, go get some groceries, give a ride somewhere, etc... It is something to think about isn't it?

Yeah I am so preparing myself for this deep enlightenment this has been my committed journey this year.

Spring is here?

Happy Wednesday everyone. Well last night was the opening night of Spring Awakening and it is only in Miami for one week I almost wish it was on longer just to see how it will do. The place was packed and I suppose I was a bit surprised because it was a Tuesday night. But the night was good it was a very breezy night in Miami and being that close to the ocean made it breezier. Pretty good.

Now about the show well all I can say is WOW. Meaning like wow the name totally describes it all. The show was labeled as the awakening of sexuality for teenagers in the late 1890's. Which makes sense since it was written in 1891. My husband said something to me after the show was over which echoed what the cast member I interviewed said - he said its amazing that the same problems we have now are the ones we had then. He was right. There were certain scenes in there that even left my mouth opened. I don't want to blow it for those that may see the show but this show is not for the weak at heart and certainly and I repeat DO NOT bring kids. Seriously kids are so not allowed otherwise you will have a lot of explaining to do.

Now on to DWTS I may not had seen it live but I heard who got kicked off- Yeah Niecy. I liked her but in comparison to who are left it was her time to leave. Next off will be I suspect Ocho although he is putting up a good fight so you never know. Of course the winner will be Nicole and Derek. Hello professional dancer paired with professional dancer.

On Mondays show Nicole had a boo hoo crying moment and oh boy she said for all those people who said "this" meaning dancing came easy to her she wished they could be there to see her because it's not easy it is hard work. I wish I could of popped in there and said to her - look missy what we are saying is that you are a trained dancer and that is not fair in this competition.

Dancers are used to the long hours of training and your mind is used to seeing dance steps and memorizing them. Now bring in 10 other couples who are dancers by trait and dance against them and ok now we have a competition but against celebrities who are not dancers sorry sweetie I am so not feeling sorry for you. Plus she IS a dancer if she sucked her professional career may go down the drain because she would be labeled as the dancer who could not dance against unprofessionals. So yeah don't cry for me argentina.

When is enough enough?

Well tonight is opening night to Spring Awakening and I am so excited. I hope this day zooms by really quick so tonight will arrive. Note to self: Gas up your car otherwise you will be in deep do do.

Toronto and the "I can Do IT!" convention is coming up and I am really gearing up for it. I recently started following Dr Wayne Dyer, one of the workshop speakers I will be taking, and the more I read his writings the more I want to go to the workshop. I already saw the movie he put together titled "The Shift" and I highly recommend it. This is not an action, mystery or comic one but one on being enlightened.

Recently Dr Dyer wrote: Stay in a state of gratitude, and let the awesome yet unexplainable Tao proceed to do nothing and yet leave nothing undone. Rather than asking for more—which implies shortages and, therefore, creates a vibrational match to more shortages—focus on what you have and how thankful you are for everything that has shown up in your life.

Be thankful? Hum what a concept. Very cool. He went on to say how there was a "happiness index" that was recently taken for different countries around the world. Apparently, Nigeria, which is one of the poorest of nations, with the least modern of conveniences, came in at number one for reports of happiness among the people there. The U.S. ranked 46 out of 50. Kind of makes you wonder sometimes are we living in a society where what we have is never good enough? Where we are always needing something more? Like the perfect outfit, the perfect weather, enough cash, enough friends? Enough gossip? Oh heck no there can never be enough gossip - lets no go overboard. But seriously it makes one wonder when is enough well enough?

Me? Press/Media? who knew!

Ah yes the time goes by like the wind blows and before you know a new season has started. In Miami a new season has begun it is summer. Oh yes I know you are saying ah hello missy we are entering Spring. That may be for the rest of the world but here in Miami we are entering bruttle heat and humidity better known as summer. Because as hot as it is now it will be just as hot in the summer. Yeah paradise what can I say I live in it.

So what has been happening? Well I upgraded my writing venture. I recently became an Examiner/writer for Examiner.com and more specifically an Examiner assigned to Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. At first I thought oh no I certainly picked something off but then I realized the Arsht Center has tons of things going on all the time. I have written and published quite a few articles already and that is pretty exciting. Recently I was preparing an article on an upcoming show under the Broadway Across America series titled Spring Awakening. Well this show is hot to say the least. It has won 8 Tony Awards and provides tons of dancing and singing and along the a story on sexual awakening. Out of the blue I came across an email for someone associated with the show and I asked for a telephone interview with a cast member. The press agent was so kind that they did! I did my first interview and I tell you at first I was very nervous but then once I started talking to them it was pretty darn cool. The press agent then sent me an invite for opening night (tomorrow night) and I am so excited about it. I mean opening night! I have to go to the "Press/Media" table to pick up our tickets and that in itself is very exciting!

I cannot wait to see this show I have heard such great reviews and seen some of the numbers and well it just looks great.

I will certainly let you know how it goes.

The Bachelor has left the Building

Well the Bachelor finally left the building with no rose in hand. Yes I said finally, I am sorry but there is just something I did not like about him he had this ego and he hated to adjust and listen to anyone. The first 3 weeks he was having disagreements with his trainer because OMG she was telling him what to do?? What didn't someone tell her that HE is the Bachelor and HE makes the decisions? I guess when he saw that the public was voting he decided he needed to suck it up and play nice - too bad he can't dance. That's all I have to say on the subject - except I was right on picking who was leaving ----again.

On other news, work is work is work is work it is a wee bit busy but that is fine because it makes the days go by fast. Canada trip is fastily approaching and I am totally looking forward to it!

The weekend is almost here - well half way down to the home stretch and one thing is certain that it will be the quickest 2 days.

DWTS my prediction

Sorry it has been a little since my last posting, there has been much to do and little time to do it -well sort of. Daddy dearest came to town last Thursday and I for one love when the old man comes to town mainly because he always comes bearing gifts for ME! Yeah this time it was a large bottle of ah hem Borolla? Ok I so do not drink red BUT he remembered that the last time I tried some this was the only one I was actually happy with. For some reason the family is insisting that I will turn to be a red drinker one day, so when found that Borolla was one I liked he was quoted as saying "Oh dear you are in trouble the bottle costs $80". So daddy dearest brought me a bottle! Yeah life is good.

Speaking of daddy dearest, we did the whole going around the city thing - even though he is not a tourist. We went to the Keys for lunch - ala Snappers. Then we went to Sushi Maki for dinner. Had a fun filled day at the track on Saturday. Oh yeah the ponies were good. Daddy dearest did really good he picked a couple of winners. Then we went to oh the ever so good restaurant Sage located in Historic Hollywood Florida. God it was soooo good! Word to the wise if you go to Sage for every 2 dozen oysters you purchase you get a free bottle of wine - we ended up with 2 free bottles and yes this was after purchasing 2 bottles ourselves. Lucky for us they allowed us to take the last unopened bottle home. So thank you Sage and we will be back oh yes we will.

Now on to the gossip. DWTS - oh boy I saw last nights show and I do believe the dancers are getting better, even the giggling blond Pam Anderson. So I am watching the show and he comes Jake the Bachelor out to dance. Ok now he is not one of my faves and I personally think he has an ego problem but really who doesn't in the entertainment industry? So I am watching him and they pan to the audience where his GF is sitting and honestly she did not have a happy look on her face, she had a pretty oh boy I am bored or mad look. I am like oh wow is there trouble in Paradise? Then I learn that word on the gossip street is that Pamela Anderson has been flirting with Jake, which makes Jake happy because she has been his childhood crush since Baywatch. No really Jake? And Pamela flirting? Is this possible? Ah yeah just ask Len and Bruno (the 2 gay judges) who fawn over her because she flirts with them too! So this is pretty good dirt. Is there anything to it? Nah I certainly doubt it, everyone knows Pamela flirts with anything that moves - heck I bet she looks in the mirror and flirts with herself. I'm just sayin..

So tonight is buh bye time and here is my prediction. I suspect one of these 3 will be in the bottom two: Jake, Chad, Pamela. One of them will be leaving and if I was to predict who is leaving well I am going to say I think Jake is gone. I find Pamela is a close 2nd to leaving too.

Who will win? Well at this point I seriously think its Nicole and Derek although from the beginning I have said the final two will be Nicole and Derek and Evan and his partner.

So will I be right?

DWTS update and stuff

Ok so last night's DWTS was "ok" because there was not a whole of Oh I so love you but real critiques, unless you are Derek and Diane then forget they might as well give them the trophy. But get this Pamela Anderson only had one of the gay men (Bruno) fawn over her. Yeah Len finally point out that well she sucked! Ok not sucked just was not the best but he had that little smile on his face for her and told her over all it was very well.

It is in my humble opinion that these judges do stuff like this in order to influence the votes. It appears this week they have taken their aim at getting rid of Kate Josselin and well I have to agree with them. Although, honestly she should of been gone week 2. Len said it best when he said she walks through the dance instead of dance. She seems to not even try it is like yeah ok whatever here I am. Then when that is pointed out all she has to say is "Well I had 8 little visitors this week." Yeah we know this is why you are on the show missy because you put those 8 little visitors on TV for the whole world to see.

I suspect and predict that Kate will be one of the bottom two and Niecy because they seemed to really pick on Niecy too.

So now that we are keeping U-Verse it was time to downgrade. I changed the viewing from HD to regular and got rid of the HBO and Cinemax. (Sorry desperate times call for desperate measures). What I am learning is that some of my recordings that I have pre-set are/were set to record on HD channels. Do you know what happens when a show tapes on an HD channel and you do not have HD turned on? Well you record 60 minutes of a black screen. I guess it could be worse - I could have no DVR OH shutter the thought!

I am about 5 weeks from my Spiritual Awakening trip to Canada! I am so excited I received the badge and credentials in the mail along with the schedule. I am going to be one busy chick according to that schedule - and I can't wait! More on that as we get closer..

It's what we have for now

I may dislike them but right now I am stuck with them. I am afraid we were not able to do the switch. Once again, a promise was not met. Because Paul works full time from home it is vital that we have the fastest Internet speed, this means it must be wired ( I hope I am saying that right because I am so not techy), not wireless. We have learned that wired is quicker then wireless. Ok so currently we have two boxes and each box has a Internet hole ( I know that is not the technical name work with me here) and we are able to plug some cord into it and run that wire to the home office. This works so the new one must be able to do the same. So when the guy arrived Paul showed the guy what he wanted to do and the guy said the only way to do that is if the Internet is put only in that bedroom. This means that there would be no other Internet connection in the house, so while his home office would have Internet the rest of the house (me) would not. Ok that is just not right. So we thanked the guy for his time and he truly was a nice guy he was very helpful and tried to help us out but we had to send him away and stay with what we have. SO the search continues...

In other news the weekend was rather wet and dry. Friday we got together with one third of the usual suspects. We went to Cooper's Resto which was as always fabulous. Saturday - that evening was going to see the Elktones at Miami 948 Elks Lodge. Yeah that was nice too.

Sunday was the day of wet it rained and rained and rained. Typically, in Miami it rains for a little bit and then it just goes away and the sun comes out but Sunday was just one of these days that it did not stop for much. Which sucks because I really need to clear out my car trunk. Can you tell I always have such high important things on my list of stuff to do.

Last night was Desperate Housewives OMG did anyone see that? Ok I so love this show and I have watched it since it started but come on for the longest I have been waiting to see who the killer is and it's one of Porters friends? Hello I only saw this guy last night? Why couldn't they have incorporated him into previous shows where we got a chance to see him more. Although the person he killed last night was - eh who cares I did not care for her too much.

Tonight is DWTS oh lets see on a scale of 1-10 how much over the top with the two gay men drool over Pamela Anderson? How many times with Bruno say "SEXXXY"?

I really dislike AT&T

As I sit here thinking can this week go any more slow I am hit with an email from AT&T U-Verse and the bill my friends is disgustedly high. Let's just say it could be a car payment and in many cases higher then most electric bills. I totally flipped out! After I re-captured my breath I decided to view the details of the bill and oh boy those "special" folks at AT&T decided to lie - again! Yeah they had originally said oh no Mrs. Leach no installation fee for you because you are ordering all 3 services. So naturally when they could not deliver on the 3rd portion I still expected not to pay for the installation but guess what they changed their minds and charged me anyway! Oh yes those wonderful people decided to charge me that fee and having dealt with their excellent customer service in the past I know it will do any good.

Right now I am so ready to embrace Comcast I really am ready because I am just so done with these big time liars.

If I could bop them on the head oh heck yes I would. I would "sock it to them!"

Did anyone capture the finale of Ugly Betty? No I didn't either but I will. Tonight is Survivor but when they booted out Boston Rob I sort of lost interest.

In better news I know I said a while back I wanted to start writing a book and I got myself a notebook to make notes and have made notes now I am starting to think of characters and plots. How about a nice Cuban girl who came to this big new land with her family and the struggles of dealing with cultural differences? I'm just sayin..

DWTS update

Well here is the day after DWTS and half of my prediction came true. I had the bottom two incorrect but I had the elimination correct. I am sorry to say Aiden is gone. Yes very sadden but (as much as I hate to admit it) he really wasn't good - but he certainly was better then hello Kate Gosselin!

The bottom 3 did include Kate and if you ask me she should of been gone but that is just my little humble opinion.

I really should stop watching this show since I tend to be really good at predicting who is leaving and who will win - here is the way I see it and it will be interesting to see how accurate I am (but I seem to recall last season I was pretty much on the mark).

Chad Ochocinco - he will most likely go far he is actually pretty good. Will he go to the finals? Maybe I can see a final 3 or 4.

Evan Lysacek sorry they slated this to be his competition this guy will go to the finals and he may win - unless a certain pussycat doll has something to say about it... speaking of pussycat doll..

Nicole Scherzinger - oh put money down on her this guy got like a 10 in her 3rd dance, never mind that she was/is a dancer (oh why let a little thing like that get in the way). If she does not make it to the finals it is because the forces of nature came by and her dancing professional Derek decided to sabotage her and I don't see Derek doing that.

Jake Pavelka - The Bachelor - Oh Please....This guy has such a huge ego and it showed the minute he came on the show. First of all he came on the show shortly after he picked the final one and the media was all over him. He was the spot light. For the past few months he was snapping his fingers and people were crawling to him. He said jump and they said "Yes master how high?" So now he walks into a dancing studio and HE has take directions and OMG they bump heads because he does not want to listen to her? WHAT I can hear it now "I am the Bachelor you listen to me." So his dancing was the not the greatest because he was too busy expecting the female girl to grovel at his feet - and she didn't. So now is when he seems to be coming back down to planet Earth. Will he get himself back in to dance till the end? Oh HECK NO.

Niecy Nash - nice girl, funny but sorry she isn't winning it.

Pamela Anderson - if the 2 gay men would stop drooling over her and judge her fairly then maybe she may make it but right now she does the obvious dumb sexy blonde thing and the gay men love it while the straight girl watches. Give me a break just based on that she may go further then she should at least the final 5.

Thats how I see it for those there. The others that are not listed is because well they have potential but I am uncertain. So how will they rate?

Well my friends I had the unpleasure of watching DWTS, or as my husband likes to now call it Crapping With the Stars. I am so sorry but when I see gay men groveling over Pamela Anderson it is like seriously guys are we that stupid? And all she does is giggle put her finger by her face play with her hair and lay her head ever so slowly on her partners chest. Oh come on some one vote her off please. I seriously doubt that she is getting a lot of phone in votes since I suspect it mainly women who watch the show and would do that and I am sorry no self respecting woman would vote for her. (In my opinion of course)

Aiden Turner - oh Aiden I had high hopes for you and yes you have improved but the way I see it well the show plans on giving it to Derek and his partner unless the skater steps in the way. That seems to have been decided before the show even started. Don't get me started again on hiring stars who are dancers and professional skaters to a dancing competition.

In other wonderful news it is gloriously hot here in Miami. A few tiny sprinkles here and there but during the day there is the humidity we have all come to love. I suppose that season we had in the beginning of the year that last for like 3 months is over and summer is starting to creep in.

Now just to remind everyone tonight is DWTS and its the elimination show. So here is my prediction. Bottom two will be Kate Josselin and Aiden Turner and I suspect Aiden will be gone. How right am I?

Oh what a great start it is. Yes I am anxiously waiting for Saturday and my appt with Comcast. I have high hopes that this will be the start of a great relationship because if Saturday comes and Comcast does not show up well there will be no reschedule. If they come and I am not provided all 3 packages that they said I will tell that tech sorry we wasted your time was wasted but I am not going through this game again. But I am positive I am sure they will come through.

On another note. DWTS what kind of crap is going to happen tonight?

The Saga Contnues

The story of my telephone/internet/tv services I feel will be a whole chapter in itself because the saga continues. To recap AT&T sold me this wonderful 3 package deal on the latest and greatest and I was hey lets do it. So I said YES ok give me all 3 items. Well we remember the installation appt nightmare and when the guy finally came he was only able to do 2 of the 3 and said hey just call to reschedule for the telephone. Ok fine sounds good he made a note in the system and I was ok fine I will do that. So time went by and I sort of got caught up in life until I received my regular AT&T phone bill and it was sky high! Mind you this is just the bill for the land line phone. So I called them up and said hey buddy lets set a time up for this new digital phone and the lady goes no sorry we cannot do that. Ah why? Oh because it's not available and then she added be glad because I am hearing many complaints about it, but it does become available it will cost you $149 to get it installed? I am like WHAT! Wait a minute first of all you sold me all 3 bundled package you never said hey only 2 are available and then this telephone installation I know will take 10-15 minutes max because that is what your trusty technician said - and for that you will charge $149? She said yes we have to charge that. Oh heck no. So I hung up and the man and I discussed this and yes Comcast was mentioned again as an option.

So I compared packages made a phone call or two and email or two and Comcast came with a very attractive bundle package. All 3 items including my current hook on DVR and high speed internet for a price that well lets just say I am saving $50 a month! Ok now this sounds like a plan I can live with. So I made the appt. Lets keep our fingers crossed that this will be the one and only appt and I won't have one of these oh let me reschedule or worse not show up at all.

I am sure that if these companies talk to each other I must be on the list of "fickle" customers. But AT&T made me mad. They lied, broke promises and lets not get into the several appt made where they never bother to call and say sorry something came up and we just are not showing up. I now suspect I know why they never showed up. They knew that they could not do all 3 items and somewhere along the way they must of all went "ops" which explains why I would call and I would get someone to look my account up and then I would go on hold for a long time. They were like ah lets just schedule her and maybe she will forget we are suppose to come. Oh no she didn't forget she is hounding us ok lets just send someone there and then he can give the excuse oh just call to reschedule and we can hope she forgets. Yeah I think thats what happened. So if I cannot trust them then why give them any of my hard earned cash. Comcast you all better be good otherwise well I don't know but I don't want to know..

Ok am I rambling on? Well not rambling just venting. So do you think Comcast will disappoint me?

Happy Friday folks! It is Good Friday and whether you celebrate the religion or not Friday ( in my opinion) is always good. Tonight is time with the fam night.

Remember the story about AT&T a while back and how close I got to moving to Comcast? Well I still have Internet and U-Verse but I was on hold for the digital telephone service. They had told me to call back and reschedule. Well after receiving my regular phone bill and after the circulation came back I said ok time to call and schedule this digital U-Verse thing they wanted me to do. Well of course I call and they are so very happy to help me and then I am put on hold. Oh yeah I remember this and she comes back and tells me well no I am sorry we cannot help you because it is not available BUT when it is we will charge you $149 installation fee. WHAT! Wait a minute it will take maybe 15 minutes to install (that's what the technician had said) and you are going to charge me $149!! When Originally I was told nothing because I was buying the complete package??? Yes ma'am that is the charge. Well gee thanks but NO THANKS. So I basically stripped the phone of all it's thrills except for voice mail (and once I get an answering machine that will be gone too) and said dude you are so wrong so very wrong.

The other night we had such a beautiful full moon it was large and bright and just one of those for making wishes. I wish we had more of those. Yes I did make a wish and no I am not going to reveal what the wish was for. Silly people you are. ha ha ha

A few more days before the new episode of DWTS and I can't wait to see what stupid blond the current stupid blond (Pam Anderson) will play. Lets see she did Anna Nicole Smith and Marilyn Monroe. Who else is left? Maybe she will go brunette and do Betty Boop. Oh no you don't thinks she would mess with the Boop do you? I want to see how long the 2 gay guys will continue drooling over her. Because I just have issues over gay men drooling over Dumb-Blonde-Boob-popping women. I am sorry but that is wrong and how much extra did the show pay you to do that? Seriously because she isn't that good at dancing! But one good piece of dirt I heard is that Pamela Anderson just cannot stand one of the other contestants - Kate Josselin. Yep she cannot stand the reality star with 8 children. And why not you may ask? Well because Kate is not in it for the right reasons? AH??? HUH?? WHAT??? It is a dancing show you are being PAID to compete and dance. No the money is not for charity unless you decide on your own to give it but otherwise you are being paid. So what's the right reason? Ok I am may not like Kate but to say she is not in it for the right reason? Give me a break...Now you see why I call her a dumb blonde.

Used to dress cool? I still think Madonna has amazing taste (with the exception maybe of that Louis Vuitton outfit with the bunny ears), but Lourdes is on to something. Her mom’s unique style back in the day rocked… she was such the trendsetter.

Now, the style icon and her hip daughter are teaming up for a new junior clothing line appropriately called Material Girl.

“It’s got lots of different connotations. First of all, the word ‘material’ is fabric, so we’re talking clothes and Material Girl is a name that everyone associates with me and associates with that specific style I had at that time with my career.”

Material Girl, which will be sold exclusively at Macy’s, is very accessible and affordable with prices starting at $12 and topping out at just $40. Madonna says she and Lourdes, or Lola as she affectionately calls her daughter, are “extremely involved” in the creation of the line.
“The most fun is when Lola comes into the room and takes over and pulls out all of her favorite stuff and starts going through the racks and just takes over. I just sit on the conference table and watch and let her do the work, it’s nice, it’s refreshing.”

A little rant

Good day Miami! It is in the 60's right now and a ton of fog all around. I have to admit I love seeing the fog on the lawn it just reminds me of clouds and makes me wish I could walk on the cloud. Yeah I know I am a little girl at heart. Had dinner with a friend from work last night one of those last minute things she asked I accepted and it was nice to exchange some idol gossip. So I started watching last night my regular daytime soaps and I was watching what is usually my favorite one (All My Children) and I found myself blue. That show was so hot and on fire a few short years ago, I mean there was Palmer, Adam and Stuart, Erica and well pick a man any man. Those were the times I loved attending Super Soap Weekend at Disney's MGM Studio. The show filmed in New York and every so often they would do an outside location shot which was cool because it was funny to see the fictional town of Pine Valley have a New York flair. Then occasionally one of the characters would take a shuttle to New York and you would see the usual NY places.

Well now we are in present day and Super Soap Weekend is no longer happening, at least not in Florida. James Mitchell who played Palmer recently passed away he was not seen much because of his ill health. The powers that be hired a head writer who just destroyed the core characters. We fans call him Pratt Falls because he just made everything fall down and die. The one up side the powers that be finally opened their eyes and listened to fans and he is no longer employed there but the damage he has done is done. One of the most beloved characters Stuart was killed - a casualty of Pratt Falls era. Stuart being killed left Adam helpless and alone because Stuart was the good brother who always saw the best in Adam and well Adam was not a very nice guy. David Canary plays/played the parts of Adam and Stuart. He is awesome because he and Stuart are twins and you could see a scene and go wait that is Adam pretending to be Stuart. Seriously he was that good.

Why am I going on about AMC? Well the show recently relocated to Los Angeles. Oh yeah from NY to LA? They claim it is to save money but the loss that is coming (in my opinion) is huge. David Canary does not like LA he likes NY he is a New Yorker so he decided not to renew his contract so as a result some time this month he will no longer be on the show. Yeah that's another core character leaving. Joe Martin who was with the show when it started 40 years ago was written off they moved his core veteran character to Florida. Great another core character gone. Susan Lucci who plays the memorable Erica Kane said she is a New Yorker and will always be a New Yorker so she does not want to work as many hours so she is doing (for now) 2 weeks of filming and off for 2 weeks. Yeah she can do that because the day they lose Erica Kane that is it buddy head for the hills and shut it down. So who is left? All the young characters. It is sad when you see shows no longer honor their vets and push them away and bring in the new young kids. Am I watching it? Well yeah because I just can't cope without my soap!

Sandra Bullock is going through torment dealing with the Jesse James cheating scandal. Heartbroken Sandra Feels Like She Failed. DWTS - Crap or fiction?

Oh boy a whole week has gone by and it only seems like it was yesterday I was swearing I would write more often. It has been a pretty decent week. Had some family fun times and some friends fun time. One sad note my local Tony Romas unexpectedly closed for business. Yes I am sadden for that because I almost found it as my public private lodge. I would go there on a Saturday night or Friday night for an after dinner drink or more for the conversations I would have with the bartender there and some locals that would come. It was nice it was not overly crowded, clean and everyone who worked there were friendly and did the "HI!" when they saw me. Yeah when you go there once or twice a week they tend to know you. So I went there Friday night and Renee (bartender) and I are talking and she is all excited because they had asked her to head local marketing and PR relations. She was having plans on going to the area businesses and my Moose Lodge. We even were discussing on setting up a Twitter account for them and start offering tweet specials. She tells me there is an upcoming meeting and she will know more. Well next thing I know 2 days later she sends me a text saying they closed the place. Apparently everyone came in to work that day and were told today is your last day we are closed. Very sad to hear about this.

Now I begin with DWTS. Oh where to begin where to begin. If you read my previous entries on the first dances you know how I feel about some of the "stars." Now the results and who got kicked off. The way it works there are points the judges provide and then text and phone in votes. I have always had my concerns on phone in votes because sometimes I find it hard to believe Americans are that stupid. Ok fine not stupid but makes me say "Seriously????"

First I think we have already seen the possible winner and that is Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough. First Derek is just once of the best dancers out there. He truly is excellent and his routines are top notch and on fire. Nicole is just really good. But of course she is good she was part of the dancer grop PussyCat Dolls. The show tends to do this they throw in obvious front runners and she is one of them and paired with Derek well they should make it to the finals.

My wishful contestant/dancer is Aiden Turner. Oh Aiden I so like him. He was (until recently) on All My Children and well now he is here struggling. He is struggling to learn to dance. I hate to say it but he has no rhythm. But all I can is "Aiden, you can do it!"

Then we have the Great Grandpa generation representative Buzz Aldin. Lordly help us all. Look I respect the man he is a great leader and awesome American, but he has no business on the dance floor.

Now we lets get to Pamela Anderson who decided on her first week she was going to play the role of Nicole Anna Smith (hee hee ha ha kiss kiss ops there goes my boob) and this week she decided to play Marilyn Monroe. (Do I see a trend here?) Can she dance? Ask the 2 gay guy judges who are drooling over her and the supposedly straight female judge who pretty much wants to make out with her. Oh they love her. Noticed I said THEY love her. Sorry I have seen better. And, the stupid dumb blonde act (it is an act isn't it?) is just well annoying. SO I was happy to see her in the bottom two.

Now I come to the other bottom two dancer Shannen Doherty. Well I like Shannen I certainly do. I liked her on Melrose Place and I liked her a lot on Charmed. Actually I liked her more on Charmed. Was she an excellent dancer? No but she was better then Pamela and certainly better then Buzz.

So who left? It is with deep regret I must say Shannen Doherty has left the building. Now you see why I have issues with the phone in votes?

What other crap will happen in this season?

The Day After

Well it is the day after the debut of Dancing with the Stars and well it proved interesting. First of all I am a soap fan so when my Aiden Turner from All My Children was a dancer competing I was like oh yeah this is cool because well recently he got kicked off the soap. A total shame how they made his character go nuts. Well they paired him with my faveorite professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska. She is pretty awesome and I think some years they really screw her by giving her less then memorable celebrities as partners. She has had 2 good ones (Jason Taylor and Cameron Mathison) but all the others have been like oh come on really. Their first dance was the Cha Cha Cha and they danced it to Hungry Life the Wolf. Yeah not sure it was the best song choice but for someone who is not a dancer I thought it was fine. The judges were hard they did not particularly care for it.

So who did they care for? OH let me think oh yes they were going all stupid nuts for Pamela Anderson who they have billed as "the sexiest woman on the planet"? Really? Pamela Anderson as the sexist woman on the planet? Oh she played the stupid blonde part well. She had her super low cut dress and short short short dress. Then the helpless breath and oh so girlish giggles. OH yes wait this is a dancing show so did she even dance? Oh yes they ah hem danced the Cha Cha Cha to Gimme All Your Lovin'. Yeah I expected that. Now her partner was new to the show and he was very good he truly was but I am sorry she got the 4th highest score and I if I am wrong well I am wrong but I saw the performance Buzz Aldrin did better.

Speaking of Buzz I wish DWTS would stop putting on older then Moses people on the show. But the man made an excellent point and this is most likely why they do it; he said it is to show people who are that age that they can do whatever they want and give them inspiration. So for that alone sounds good to me.

There are the typical skaters who will do really good and pussycat dolls singer who also dance who will be really great too (yawn I see who ABC wants to win). Then you have Kate Gosselin mommy of 8 of the Jon and Kate series. I found her well unmemorable. Sorry I only speak it as I see it.

Party like a Rock Star

Monday Monday so good to see you today. The weather is a wee bit dreary because of the rain but Monday I am happy to say the weekend was a blast. Friday night was another fun night of hanging out with the usual suspects. We went to Rincon Argentina and we ordered some BBQ Argentina style food. Well portions were huge so needs to say we packed that puppy up and took it home. The male half of the Fun Couple (Jack and Lina) was installed Saturday as a new Exalted Ruler in the Miami 948 Elks Lodge. He will do well. He has a great attitude, great back up support and truly believes in doing the right thing.

Saturday was the girls night out at Miccouski and oh boy what a night! First of all when I was told (by several friends) that the place is "very smokey" they were truly not over stating the fact. Oh yeah it was so so so so (did I say so?) so so smokey! There was a few times that I had to go outside for fresh Everglades air. We started at the downstairs Cypress Lounge to listen to the band. Well while I am Cuban I do not particular listen to Cuban music but it was my friend's birthday and she does. It was also a good meeting point for a couple other girls who were driving down to meet us. It was loud, it was VERY Spanish, and it was so so so so so Smokey. It just appeared that every person in there had a freaking cigarette in their hand. (Note to readers NO I did NOT have one). So at one point in the night I just reached a point that I could not tolerate it anymore so I told my friend look I am going to the upstairs Martini Bar because it is much more quiet up there and there is hardly any smoke at all there. I told the others I was going to restroom and walk and would return but I had no intentions on returning. Well I am sitting at the Martini Bar having well an Apple Martini and I see my 2 buddies come up. They seemed relieved because they had wanted to leave but did not know how to go about it since the other girls had recently arrived and they came to see her. But Patty said they could not take the smoke and left so they jumped at the chance to leave too. Well needless to say from here on the night was great. We sat there talking and talking and talking and talking. Yes a couple drinks made it to the table but it was more talk then anything. Let's just say Patty and I closed the Martini Bar and went to bed at 4:30 AM. Yeah we partied like a rock star I would say. Man it was fun.

Then Sunday we got up around 11:00 AM and ended up at The Pit for lunch. We sat outside talking ( yeah we still had more to talk about) and laughed at this clown who came for some coffee and face painting and pony rides. We sat there having a nice time watching families and well you guessed it talking. Eventually it was time to return back to our regular lives and toss it up to a great night out. The next birthday is mine in August and well I am not sure if we will go back there again, we may but if we do I am so not going to that Cypress Lounge unless it is early before all the smokers arrive. And I will be hanging at the Martini Bar having well my Apple Martini of course.

So that was the weekend. Right now it seemed like it was a lifetime away especially as I sit here realizing oh boy time to get some work done. Have a great week!

Hello world here I am

Fun filled times I tell you. The AT&T Uverse is installed and we are still learning it I am taking advantage of taping several shows at the same time. Yeah I get thrilled doing stuff like that. Tnen I scanned thru some of their Free On Deman found a few nice videos. Still more to learn from it but so far so good. Last Friday we got together with one third of the usual suspect and we went to Sculleys. Now I personally like Sculleys but it appears the time we went was not a very good time. We ended up sitting in this long tube like bar with uncomfortable bar stools. We did this because all tables were taken and gee it seemed like fun at the time. Note to self NOT FUN. The company was fun and nice and it countered the horrible seating arrangements. This Friday well who knows I certainly do not. But Saturday is my oldest (I can say this because we have been friends since Junior High School) friends birthday celebration. Usually we pick a place to go and recently it means an over night stay so this is Pattys pick and she decided

Actually Allison and I split her dinner so what's half of FREE? Oh I know another drink please!

That is about it. Tonight is Moose meeting night and as I was reminded on Sunday it's election night. Oh what a pity ByLaws do not allow me to be Secretary/Treasurer for a 3rd year oh what a shame - Say hello to the new Chaplain. (Bless you all)

I have been watching endless Bachelor shows and I know its preparing for the Bachelorette but I cannot get into Ali the new Bachelorrette she was a whining little Biatch and now she gets to pick who her true love is from 25 men? Get paid for it? Get a whole wardrobe? Get taken to romantic places? OK where do I sign up...oh yeah can't do that I am married...details details...

Either way I don't like Ali. I am sure I will eventually warm up to her.

Are you not impress a write up twice in one week? Yeah I am not that impressed either ha ha ha. Although I should because it has been a busy week at work for me that is for sure. A sad thing happened this week a co-worker from the department her daughter who was 23 years old passed away unexpectantly leaving behind a 4 year old daughter. It is very sad news and just hits close especially having a child in that age range you sit and think wow. So there has been saddness in the unit and grief. This Friday night is the services. I am now debating on if I should go. Those things always tend to really emotionally drain me. Love and prayers are sent to my friend and her family.

In other happy news this Saturday we go to Wicked! Yeah baby! I can't wait to see it again! This weekend will hopefully be a good weekend.

AT&T you are so not worthy

Here it is a Monday and yes I am posting! Oh I know you all had doubts. I am sure you thought it will be another month and then we will get the sorry time slipped by line again - so I fooled you! Well I fooled me too. I really did not expect to write either but here I am. Ok so this weekend was well eventful (sort of). Ok not that eventful. Friday night we hung out with the usual gang of suspect which I totally love. We always have a nice time when we are together. It gave me a good feeling after such a long yucky week.

Now comes the true weekend adventure. To give a little history somewhere around the beginning of Feb we decided to "upgrade" our viewing and internet. Oh yes this means we are FINALLY going HD! We got a HD TV (thanks Mother!) so we decided to take the plunge and go for it. Ok I called AT&T and we decided to go for this Uverse fiber optic deal. Ok sounds fabulous. Upgrade, faster internet, record 4 shows at the same time up to 300 hours of recorded TV it will store. Life is good. So we made the appt for Feb 27th. Well Feb 27 came and went. No show by the wonderful AT&T. No show no call no nothing. We called and they decided they would grace us by rescheduling for this coming Saturday. Well I called a few times during the week to confirm the appt. They confirmed. Yes they said no problem between 9 and 11 AM we will be there. Well guess what happened during that time? Well at 9:30 Am we got a tech who came to do the pre-work on the outside. She was nice and told us that someone would be there by noon.

Well noon came and went. We called at that time and get this no record of us. No appt no nothing. OH this started the array of calls, transfers, a couple of screaming matches (from our end to them). Then they said between 1 and 3 and yeah nothing. Lets have another round of calling AT&T and lets tell them how much we really like this service. I cannot begin to tell you how many phone calls we made that afternoon let's just say more then you can count on both your hands. The last call we made was each of us on a different phone yelling at different reps.

So the last call I made I told the guy I am seriously looking at calling Comcast because of this. The guy then told me that we were rescheduled for Sunday between 9 and 11! Yes Sunday! The very next day. So I said to the guy ok go to dispatch and confirm that because I have been through this game of yours already. The guy came and said yes you are on schedule and dispatch has you on their list for tomorrow. So I told this guy I really do not believe you. He told me he was certain and for sure they would come. So my final words to him was if you don't please write this down in those records but if you don't then you might as well not come because I will be calling Comcast that day and placing my order with them. The guy said not to worry they would be there.

It is now Sunday morning 10ish or close to it. We are sitting there eating our breakfast not a sound from AT&T. We decided we would do what we said. You don't come we call Comcast and start up the business. Well low and behold not long after 10 we get a phone call and it is AT&T! Oh yes and it is dispatch stating the technician to do the install was running late but we were the next stop! Ok now we are like no way is this true, this was dispatch. But wait it gets better.

A few minutes later the technician called and said he was 10 minutes away! Yes yes yes! Oh I am getting excited (Yes that is the exciting life I live). Well he came and he installed with the exception of the digital voice mail (that was not an emergency install for us). So now I am left with the question should I write AT&T and just let them know how upset I am over getting this whole thing done? I think I might not sure.

But that is my story and I am sticking to it.

Yes I am alive

There I go again I say I will not let time pass by and not at least write a little something and well I did not one but both. Things have been good. My work life is picking up. I go through different times during the year when it is busy and the first half is usually a busy time and well it sure is. I do not generally mind because it does make the time go by.

I love how sometimes you think your life is heading in one direction and then a impulse decision makes you re-think your original choice. One has to wonder why this happens. I wish I had the answer but it is beautiful when you see the angels working for you and making sure that you are okay. This recently happened to The Man and it is truly a nice thing to watch.

Patty, Allison and I are still planning our Night out to celebrate Pattys birthday and it appears that we have finally come up with the date and plan. Well we had the plan we even ordered tickets but the venue has decided to cancel the event which left us with "which way do we go which way do we go." There will be an over night stay and one thing is for sure we will end up in the hotel room sitting there with a bottle (or two) of wine just talking and laughing. Last time we did that we stopped talking at 3:00 AM. Yeah we are hip like that.

The 2010 I Can Do It convention in Toronto is getting closer and I am really looking forward to it. I think I need a new outfit what do you think?

Speaking of new...tomorrow I do the chop chop on the hair. I do not know what style it will be because I have a consult with the hair dresser prior to the chop but one thing I know for sure is that it will be short. Yes short.

Well another thing on the horizon is Dancing With The Stars is back on and the list of stars is well,,eh...could of been better. Paula Abdul is on and I heard people saying well that is not hair she was a Lakers Dancer and choreographer and yes this is true but come on that was like 75 years ago. Have you seen her lately? Then there is Jake - who is the last Bachelor well sorry Jake just never did it for me. I also saw him dancing in one of the bachelor episodes, I suspect he won't make it till the end. I could be wrong but that is my prediction. Then there is Pamela Anderson. Really? Baywatch bouncing bombshell? Lets see how many times the show will have to blur out the girls popping out. Guys keep on eye on that and get back to me. Then there were the typical Olympic dudes and football players. I am not so excited this year about the show but I will watch it because well...that's just what I do.

OH WAIT I just remembered there is one person I am so hot looking forward to. The name is Aiden Turner who was on my daytime soap All My Children what makes it best is that he is paired with my favorite dancer Edyta Sliwinska. I like Edyta is an awesome dancer and she sometimes gets left behind so I am really excited to see that. Yes for now this is who I want to win.

I will once again aim to keep this posted but look it is Friday and I do not generally think about the blog on the weekends. So what will happen this weekend?
